File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Cathédrale Marie Reine du Monde Crucifix.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 17:13, 21 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Image problems

edit

Nice pictures MJ, but none of the above images you uploaded have a copyright licence and the flickr pages you reference clearly states that all rights are reserved. This is a problem as we can only accept freely licenced images. You may want to licence them here, assuming you took them yourself, with a {{PD-self}} tag clearly noting that the images you put on flickr are differently licenced but that you are the copyright holder and that both are yours. Alternatively you can change the flickr licence such as {{cc-by-sa-3.0}} and then the source will show up as a free licence we can accept. Hope that helps, but you can always ask more questions at the media copyright questions page. Hope that helps. Cheers ww2censor (talk) 17:25, 21 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Images

The image "Vermont State House - President of the Senate Office.jpg" is not of the Vermont Senate President's office. It is the executive Chamber, used as a ceremonial office by the Governor. If this is your image you need to select a license so that it is not deleted. CApitol3 (talk) 15:13, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your image upload, but the flickr link given suggests All Rights Reserved.

If you are prepared to license it under Creative Commons here, it would be reasonable to do the same on Flickr.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Bryce Canyon Panorama.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Bryce Canyon Panorama.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
