Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/L3 experiment edit

Just letting you know that I speedy closed this AfD because L3 experiment was redirected to L3 (CERN). Given that both pages had exactly the same content, I boldly did the redirect myself as I felt that it was not a controversial move. Indeed, I should have noticed that that was the proper action, but I'm still learning Mjamja (talk) 17:52, 1 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Peer review for the list of baryons edit

Hi,

I noticed that you had an interest in particle physics, so I wondered you could head over the List of baryons and Talk:List of baryons pages a give some feedback. I'm currently trying to bring that article to Featured List status, but I'm not a particle physicist so I probably made half a dozen mistakes. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Your recent list of baryons edit edit

Your edit is good, thanks for that, but I have one request: you mention JP just before the table. This is the first time it is mentioned and there is no explaination what it means. This may be quite obvious to people familiar with particle physics, but people (like me) who are not familar with the term could use a little explanation. Would you expand that part a bit, to explain in more details what you mean? (This is the edit I'm talking about)

Thanks!

I made the minimal change (adding links, basically). I don't think we want to get into the details of angular momentum or parity, but if people feel that links are insufficient, more info can be added.Mjamja (talk) 20:18, 25 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think one line mentioning JP and a link to a page about it should suffice, no need for any more.     — SkyLined {talkcontribs 19:47, 6 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
