I've got no issue that the information is incomplete, or even possibly irrelevant, and I don't know who posted or re-posted the info (save for a bot that I use that thought an edit by you was vandalism); however this was a referenced source and as such was valid information. Whether or not Ramsbottom left by "mutual consent", as you put it, is not verifiable as there are no sources available. I certainly don't know if he resigned, was dismissed, or otherwise.

You go on to talk about the history of the union. Why don't you edit the article to reflect this history? I would welcome any information on the subject. In particular, the union's support for the miners strike is an important part of the union's history, but I have very limited knowledge to be searching for sources on the Internet and elsewhere. In reply to your request on my talk page. Since the material relates to a living person, it comes under the WP:BLP rules, and in particular WP:GRAPEVINE requires that all unsourced material, particularly negative material, is removed. WP:3RR does not apply to such situations, as is specifically stated in both the BLP policy and the 3RR policy. There will be no sanctions against you no matter how many times you revert the material. On the contrary, the sanctions will be against the person inserting the material. This one is a bit difficult to block because the IP is dynamic but if it starts coming from a stable IP address or a registered account you can give approriate template warnings (found at WP:WARN) and if it still continues report to WP:AN3 or WP:AIV as appropriate. Gravesend Grammar School

The name change I made was reverting an edit back to a version you created (which you then undid). I changed it as it was dubious information and an uncited name change.
