George Mackley, Wood Engraver and copyright edit
This article is carrying a copyright acnowledgement. Unfortunately Wikipedia cannot carry copyright material. It isn't clear how much reliance there is here on the Elizabeth Romyn book; is it just a source, or are the words substantially hers? (In the latter case, it would be best to remove any text that is not original contribution and just refer outwards to her text as a source.) AllyD (talk) 16:14, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on George Mackley, Wood Engraver requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. - After two days you have not responded to the request above for clarification of the copyright situation. I have deleted the article, as you seemed to be saying that you had copied the content from a book. If this was not so then please let me know on my talk apge.
