Speedy deletion nomination of User:MickWithoutGlasses/Juan in a Million

edit

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as User:MickWithoutGlasses/Juan in a Million, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy delete recommended - hoax. Google Search shows no evidence any of what's written about exists anywhere. JoeSperrazza (talk) 05:44, 3 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Actually, it's a real TV show, and it was preceded by another TV show called "The Life of Mido McAndrew". So, will you please revive it? AND OH...MY...GOSH. I just found out that the page about Matt (singer) has been deleted and the author of it was banned. How could you?! Matt rules!

Thanks for the note, but there's no way to "revive". I also don't know anything about Matt (singer). Cheers, JoeSperrazza (talk) 02:38, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
Darn. I worked so hard on that article. And about Matt--can I make the article? The author of it was banned, so he/she can't remake it, but can I make it without having it deleted? Please?
I don't know anything about the article Matt (singer). However, it sounds like an article written about the author (your friend Matt). Not only would you writing such an article be a likely conflict of interest, but it is not clear that Matt is sufficiently notable, based on reliable sources, to have an encyclopedia article here. Read Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons for more information. JoeSperrazza (talk) 17:28, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

No, Matt has actually stated in an interview that he doesn't have a Wikipedia account. I'm just gonna rewrite the article now.

Be sure to follow the rules here at Wikipedia when you do so. Good luck, and P.S., don't forget to sign your posts on talk pages by type 4 tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments. JoeSperrazza (talk) 17:34, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Knokout Winter Performance

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Knokout Winter Performance requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. —C.Fred (talk) 04:43, 16 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Leverage (Finnish band)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Leverage (Finnish band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

Block request

edit

I am editing on my non admin account currently, so you will be better asking another active admin to perform the block. If you give a reason I can do the block in about 24 hours! Graeme Bartlett (talk) 04:32, 20 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Some one used your account to request a self block. see http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Graeme_Bartlett&diff=prev&oldid=414739576 But if you do not want to be blocked just forget about it! Graeme Bartlett (talk) 02:35, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
There has to be a reason, eg studying for exam, in trouble with work or wife etc. It may be your little brother asking on your unlocked PC. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:32, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
You can add the enforcer yourself with this script: Wikipedia:WikiProject User scripts/Scripts/WikiBreak Enforcer Graeme Bartlett (talk) 03:33, 22 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Userspace

edit

I note that you've been creating a bunch of articles in your userspace that are all about you and your friends and your garage band.

I'm sorry, you can't do that here. Wikipedia is not a free webhost. They're going to have to come down.

I'm going to give you a few days to save them to your own computer; once you're done with that, you can mark them for deletion yourself by adding {{db-u1}} to each page.

If you find the Wiki format useful, you might want to consider downloading the free MediaWiki software that Wikipedia uses. DS (talk) 04:12, 28 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Don't make things up, Mick. You've got 1 day to save them to your hard drive and then I'm deleting them. DS (talk) 05:27, 28 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
I didn't know that DJ Boonie was real until I looked her up on Google and got independent confirmation. DS (talk) 03:35, 2 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Lucas Cruikshank. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. 117Avenue (talk) 08:28, 5 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Restorations

edit

Based on your previous history, you'll need to tell me exactly what sort of project you want them for. DS (talk) 04:12, 15 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

"These are the pages that I made on Wikipedia, but they got deleted for being lies" ? What kind of project is that? More details, please. DS (talk) 04:19, 15 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
If your project is to write nonfiction, then you shouldn't make things up. That's the opposite of nonfiction. DS (talk) 04:33, 15 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Kesha, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. Andy Grammer

edit

Andy Grammer page. I'm just wondering why you removed the Wiki Commons pic of Andy from the Andy Grammer page. I'm a new editor, forgive me if I'm posting this incorrectly. update: another editor fixed it, needed to be lowercase in image parameters. 184.78.242.57 (talk) 16:04, 26 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Kesha. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 00:59, 28 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

May 2011

edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, as you did at User:MickWithoutGlasses/Knokout, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. You have now created dozens of unsuitable pages which have been deleted, including a number of re-creations after deletion. At first you may have not been aware of Wikipedia's standards, but by now that cannot be the case. Wikipedia is not a free web host, and if you wish to continue to edit here then you will have to realise that. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:36, 10 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
