Deep sky images edit

Hello. I see you have uploaded quite a lot of deep sky images, thanks for that! What concerns me is that you tagged them with the NASA PD license, but many of the images have been taken by ground based telescopes which makes me suspect they're not NASA images after all. Unfortunately, you haven't included the source for these images. Please fix this (or give me the source) so the issue can be resolved.--Jyril 12:54, 2 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi Jyril, I got those other images from http://archive.stsci.edu/ which are linked in the astronomy program kstars that I used to gather deep space information. I found the following data use policy:

http://archive.stsci.edu/data_use.html

Others are from http://archive.noao.edu/ with these conditions of use: http://archive.noao.edu/nsa/condOfUse.html

Does this mean I have to delete some of the pictures? -- Mguppy 23:33, 13 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
