Operation Nifty Package edit

Hi Melanesian obsession, Rick Astley's NGGYU, as well as many other popular songs of 1988, was used in the capture of Noriega. A supplement to a report by the US South Command (published in 1990 I think) which I cited on the article yesterday, confirms that the song was used. Thus I've reinstated NGGYU's mention in the article. Hope you have no problem with that. To be honest, I love NGGYU, so if I was Noriega, I would've stayed put lol. Thanks. Speedy deletion nomination of John Pontolillo edit

A tag has been placed on John Pontolillo, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Proposed deletion of John Pontolillo edit

The article John Pontolillo has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. elektrikSHOOS 03:10, 13 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I was adding the tag at the same moment you were adding the source. The tag has been removed. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks for your edits and whatnot. elektrikSHOOS 03:12, 13 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Horace Terhune Herrick edit

Hello. You placed a WP:PROD tag on the Horace Terhune Herrick article without explaining your reasons. This is not proper. Further the article appears to be well referenced so the tag you placed makes even less sense. Please be more careful if and when you repeat this activity in the future. Thank you. You have been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet. (blocked by –MuZemike 08:00, 16 July 2010 (UTC))Reply
You may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but please read our guide to appealing blocks first.
Adding crappy "bad" BLP stuff to the project, and at the same time prodding and AfDing RAN's profiles on 19th century minor notables is perhaps the most bizarre combination of trolling invented.--Milowent (talk) 12:58, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
