Cancer Fighting Cells
I chose this article because it is a stub article with only one sentence of information. While the subject of engineered cancer therapy cells is relatively new, there is some substantial information as it is a topic of new research. Some resources have been difficult to access, due to copyright, however there are other sources that can be used to supplement this article. I am not specialized in cell engineering, but I do have basic knowledge in biology and the structure/function of human cells. I also am curious and am genuinely interested in learning more about cell engineering.

Occupational hearing loss
I selected this stub article as it also provides little information on the subject, but has potential to be an interesting and informative article. There is only one source, so I have found other sources that can be added to enlarge the article. Again, this topic is scientific so there is legitimate research and information available from reliable sources. I have a basic knowledge in the sciences and took anatomy in school so, with a little extra research on field-specific terms, I can understand the material. For this I could create a significant contribution as only one source was used to write the information and there are more specific sub-categories I can delve into. For example, it says that "22 million workers are exposed to hazardous noise each year", but it doesn't include what occupations these workers are in.

Tinkerbell effect
I am interested in this article because this is a new phenomena that I have not heard of before. This, like the first two choices, is a stub article that needs more information. After some research, I have found other sources that provide more information on this subject. For example, I found an experiment that could provide some useful data. I could also include more specifically, more examples of how the Tinkerbell may affect people and how to measure it. I have some basic knowledge in psychology which I think will help me to understand texts that may dive into how people think.

Peer Review Feedback on Articles for Selection

Since discussing with Katie about the articles we selected, I am leaning towards picking either the Tinkerbell effect or Cancer Fighting Cells. Both are topics that I am very interested in that have a lot of potential to become substantial, informative articles.

Final Article Decision

I have decided to choose Tinkerbell effect as my article for the final project. I chose it because it is a topic that I am genuinely interested in researching and learning more about. Also, it is a stub article with only five, vague sentences of information. After researching possible sources, there is a reasonable amount of information despite it being a relatively new topic. I found an experiment from Swarthmore University that can be an informative section that can provide a better understanding of what the Tinkerbell effect is.
