More information needed about File:Gazetalimeira.png

Hello, Mberbert!

It was really helpful of you to you to upload File:Gazetalimeira.png. However, we need to properly format the image license information in order to keep and use new images.

If you can edit the description and add one of these templates, that would be great. If you're not sure how or would like some help, please ask us at the media copyright questions page and we'll be happy to assist you.

Thanks again! --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 17:06, 2 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Muriloberbert! Thank you for your question. When it means to "clean up", one must to consider wikification, spelling, grammar, typographical errors, tone, and sourcing. Now, the recently created article you've made is in the correct spelling, grammar, typo errors and is in a NPOV (Neutral Point of View). While sources are not a big issue, You now need to use wikification to the article. Wikification means addition of infoboxes and other templates, or bolding/italicizing of text. If you are unsure in creating infoboxes for your article, view this: ([1]). Furthermore, you haven't provided an introduction to the article - Introduce the article with sufficient context such as 'A Gazeta de Limera is a newspaper company...' Note that without sufficient context to identify the subject of the article, the article will be considered for deletion.

Bolding is important because it helps keeps articles consistent with encyclopedia standards. Only use bolding when you start of the article with the article name. In the article's case, bold 'A Gazeta de Limera' when you start of the article introduction with it. As for the italicizing, ignore that unless you have an english translation of A Gazeta de Limera. Italicizing is usually used for transliteration of different languages that don't use the latin script, but it can be used for english translations as well. View this article as an example of italicizing ([2]), and just look at the starting sentence of the article.

I'd be happy to help you if you have any more questions. Abhijay (☎ Talk) (✐ Deeds) 02:40, 6 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. When you recently edited Limeira, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page SUS (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File permission problem with File:Logotipogazeta.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Logotipogazeta.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 00:32, 20 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello!

My name is Victor and I work with the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit organization that supports Wikipedia. We're chronicling the inspiring stories from the Wikipedia community around the world, including those from readers, editors, and donors. Stories are absolutely essential for any non-profit to persuade new people to support the cause, and we know the vast network of people who use Wikipedia have so much to share. It's important to convey the incredible diversity of people who've come to rely upon Wikipedia every day.

I'd really like the opportunity to interview you to tell your story, with the possibility of using it in our materials, on our community websites, or as part of this year’s fundraiser to encourage others to support Wikipedia.

I will be in São Paolo from the 1st - 2nd of March 2012, and I'll be attending:

I'm hoping you will elaborate on your story with me. I apologize for any mis-translation in this message (perhaps it might inspire a laugh?) I am using Google-translate at the moment, but plan to have translators available when we are in Brazil.

Please let me know if you're inclined to take part in the Wikipedia Stories Project!

Thank you,

Latin American 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Latin America/The 10,000 Challenge ‎ has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Argentina etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Latin American content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon. If you would like to see this happening for Latin America, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Latin America, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant!♦ --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 00:41, 27 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
