Teatro Yagüez and Sabàs Honoré edit
Shouldn't the article mention the role of Sabàs Honoré in the rebuilding? Also, do you have a photograph that could be uploaded under the GNU Free Documentation License? It could really enliven the article. LambiamTalk 00:35, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

I just got this message above which you wrote in 2006.
I agree with your suggestion and I am impressed that you would even know the name of Mr. Honoré. However, I am new to WIKI, I don't even know what GNU is, but I do have a lot of pictures & photographs which are owned by me, the last grandson of Francisco Maymon, including one tiny photograph taken in 1920 of the reconstruction and partly collapsed roof of the Yaguez after the 1919 fire. (seems like cameras took very small pictures in those days). I am also working on a website of all the antiques and documents from the Yaguez which I inherited. - Hi Maymon! Lambiam was referring to Gnu Free Documentation License (GFDL), which is a "free" broad license status. Pictures used in Wikipedia have to be either public domain (free for anyone to use for any purpose) or released under one of a few "free" type licenses such as GFDL. If you have any photographs of Teatro Yaguez, then you can upload them at http://commons.wikimedia.org, following the instructions there, and then they can be included in the article. When I upload my pics there i click on "Upload file" at the left, then select "It is entirely my own work", and follow along, and eventually release my pic using "Multi-license with CC-BY-SA-3.0 and GFDL (recommended)", which I select from a drop-down menu. In general, you should upload your pics if you are willing for them to be used in wikipedia and if you also understand that the license would also allow them to be used pretty widely elsewhere, too. I'm not worried about anyone else using my own pics, in fact i'd be thrilled if anyone wanted to, so i am happy to release them. The 1920 pic is probably public domain and could be used in wikipedia. For it and other pics not taken by you, there are volunteers more expert than me who could help determine what license applies and how to upload them. Or I could try to help with more info on those too. It would be great if you would contribute some pics!
