TeX

An oddity of TeX is seen in one of your recent edits:

$i{\cos }\theta \,$

$i\cos \theta \,$

Putting \cos inside curly braces disturbs the spacing. The moral: omit the curly braces in that situation. Michael Hardy (talk) 03:32, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
