Advice

Your userfied article is at User:Masriyya/Arab Families Working Group. (That means, moved into a sub-page in your user space where you can work on it).

WP:Your first article is worth reading carefully. The important thing you need to establish is Wikipedia:Notability, which is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by references that show "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Significant means more than just listing-type mentions; reliable excludes Myspace, Facebook, blogs, places where anyone can post anything; independent excludes the subject's own website, affiliated ones and anything based on press releases. The test is not, do we think the organization is important or worthy? but the more objective one: have people independent of it thought it significant enough to write substantial comment about? See WP:42.

Being a worthy cause does not exempt an organization from the notability requirement - see Wikipedia is not here to tell the world about your noble cause. More advice at WP:Notability (organizations and companies) and the WP:FAQ/Organizations.

Take care:

  • not to make the article promotional - Wikipedia is very resistant to that, and WP:Neutral point of view is one of the basic policies. Don't think of yourself as writing for the organization - you are writing for Wikipedia, about the organization, from outside.
  • not to copy text from its website, or anywhere else, see Wikipedia:Copy-paste, unless you arrange a formal copyright release. That is unlikely to be worth doing, because text written for other purposes is usually too promotional in tone.

When you think the article is ready, click the "Submit" link in the box at the top: that will put it in the queue at WP:Articles for creation, where either it will be accepted or you will be given more feedback.

I haven't found any trace of a deleted article on Eileen Kuttab, and I suspect there never was one. If there was, and you don't know the exact title but know the username of its author, or anyone who probably edited it, that would help trace it.
