Notability of Wolkonsky Serge edit

A tag has been placed on Wolkonsky Serge requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. andy (talk) 10:49, 13 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wolkonsky Serge edit

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Wolkonsky Serge, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. What's this? edit

Regarding possible sockpuppet/meatpuppet connections between EsfirK and Tim32, I observe that EsfirK shows a marked interest in the history of Russian theatre, and in particular, in Serge Wolkonsky and relatedsubjects. The same editing interests were displayed by the creator of the Serge Wolkonsky article, User:Mart071, who self-identifies as "Mary Trofimov" (and yes, they know each other with M. I. Trofimov[1], so they are likely related). I don't believe for a second that this is just a coincidence. — Emil J. 16:10, 21 August 2009 (UTC) The same goes for 92.243.181.135, of course. — Emil J. 16:18, 21 August 2009 (UTC) Excellent detective work, EmilJ. --Robin (talk) 20:24, 21 August 2009 (UTC) Excellent defamation!!! I think you are DE clone, for example ;) Stop personal attack! --Tim32 (talk) 20:37, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

EmilJ! Good time! Waw! About Prince Serge Wolkonsky knows a lot of people even in USA :-), the country where he dead and was buried. Mary Trofimov is one of the most specialist onto this field. Many thanks that you think we are the one person!!! And then, many people are interesting of Russian history - literature, ballet and so on.--EsfirK (talk) 16:30, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
