If anyone knows how to transfer existing edit history from before I created an account, that'd be nice. I've a static IP address, and I have made edits as user 218.214.161.252

I'd like to merge these two accounts as I have made some constructive edits in the past and I'd like the bragging rights of them under my account.

Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, that's not possible. (I did a fair amount of background reading to double check before answering you, just in case a way did exist that I wasn't aware of - doesn't look like it) Even if it were possible, it's highly unlikely that an IP's editing history would be tacked on to a registered account, simply because IPs - even static ones - change hands reasonably regularly. Sorry to disappoint. You could put a note on your userpage linking to the IP contributions, if you wished. Yunshui  13:59, 29 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
