Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Kirsty Lee Akers

A tag has been placed on Draft:Kirsty Lee Akers, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement of https://www.kirstyleeakers.com/bio-media/ and https://www.adayinthevalley.com.au/kirsty-lee-akers/. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. editYou may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Longhair\talk 08:51, 12 August 2021 (UTC)Can someone please explain why I am now blocked? I am just trying to set up a page for Kirsty!? This such a complicated system. What did I do wrong? I just posted her bio like all other artists have on here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marketthemusic (talk • contribs)

Request reason:
I don't know how this works, I am not trying to promote anyone, I just want Kirsty to have a page? Am I in the right place?
Decline reason:
You have not made a request that simultaneously proposes a new username. Wikipedia does not have "pages", it has articles, typically written by independent editors, who take note of a subject in independent reliable sources that have significant coverage. They then summarize what those sources say, showing how the person meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable person, or more specifically in this case that of a notable musician. You have a conflict of interest and are a paid editor; being a paid editor triggers certain formal disclosure requirements. You won't be unblocked to edit about topics for which you have a conflict of interest, if that is your only goal here, this is the end of the road for your Wikipedia career. If you want to edit about topics unrelated to your conflict of interest, like Joe Biden or science or the history of your country, please tell what topics you might edit about. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:42, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
I would really appreciate if you could explain to me what I need to do to get her a page up here. One of her fans alerted me to it, and I am just trying to add her. All of a sudden I am blocked. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marketthemusic (talk • contribs)
