Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Harvey's Point, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page N15 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of Harvey's Point

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Harvey's Point, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 15:34, 16 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Dear reddogsix, This page is not unambiguously promotional, because this article has been created as a noteworthy area of interest. It is not intended as a promotion and is written in a similar format to WikiProject Hotels in Ireland such as Killyhevlin Hotel or Cork International Airport Hotel. Incidentally, it is of relevance that there was a helicopter crash at this place during the 90's. I am currently researching details thereof. I appreciate your comments and kindly seek some time to review the wording. --Marcgys (talk) 17:08, 16 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Opting in to VisualEditor

edit

As you may know, VisualEditor ("Edit beta") is currently available on the English Wikipedia only for registered editors who choose to enable it. Since you have made 50 or more edits with VisualEditor this year, I want to make sure that you know that you can enable VisualEditor (if you haven't already done so) by going to your preferences and choosing the item, "MediaWiki:Visualeditor-preference-enable". This will give you the option of using VisualEditor on articles and userpages when you want to, and give you the opportunity to spot changes in the interface and suggest improvements. We value your feedback, whether positive or negative, about using VisualEditor, at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback. Thank you, Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 20:28, 11 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
