Calalzo di Cadore

edit

Hi, if you'd like to have an article from another language Wikipedia translated, list it in Wikipedia:Translation into English instead of cut and pasting a foreign language version here. It will just end up getting deleted in a few hours. - Bobet 15:31, 23 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Stop adding that page, please. It's already in the Italian wikipedia, in case someone wants to read it in Italian. If you want it translated, follow the link above and enter it there. - Bobet 16:03, 23 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. You vandalized using your IP address, 82.88.82.94. It is certified to be static, and belongs to you. Vandalize again, and you will face longer blocks. Krakn 10:02, 31 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

Spazio, Tempo, Eternità

edit

Can you please complete your translations of an article from another language wikipedia before you post them on English wikipedia? Spazio, Tempo, Eternità has been taged as an non-English article and will likely be deleted. If you need to temporary spot to put your translations, consider using an user subpage thank you.Teiresias84 09:39, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Another user has opened a Wikipedia:Deletion review#Spazio, Tempo, Eternità deletion review on your behalf for this article. I've posted the translated fraction there; if you prefer it restored to a user sub-page, please let us know. GRBerry 15:03, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Marce, I've gone ahead and moved the article to your userspace. It's now located at User:Marce1979/Spazio, Tempo, Eternità. This will allow you time to work on a translation without having people tag your article for deletion. I hope you don't feel offended or discouraged after having your article erased — it's nothing personal, believe me. Often times people will copy foreign language articles into Wikipedia and leave them there without any translation, so it can be difficult to tell when someone is actually working on it as you were.

Now, by having the article in your userspace, you can take as much time (and edits) as you want to adjust things until you feel that it's ready to move back to its original location. You can ask for help with that step if you'd like; just drop a line on my talk page or that of any of the above users who've posted to your talk page. Also, in the future, you may want to start other articles you intend on translating in your userspace, so you won't run into the same problem.

Good luck on your translation, and don't be afraid to ask for help, whether it be with editing, a check on how the English sounds, or anything else. Tijuana Brass 23:53, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nino Velijanashvili

edit

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Nino Velijanashvili, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Speedy deletion of Turbo Pizza

edit

A tag has been placed on Turbo Pizza, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a1.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Ridernyc 11:12, 1 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Aardvark (font)

edit

A tag has been placed on Aardvark (font), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Proposed deletion of Aardvark (font)

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Aardvark (font), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. --lifebaka (Talk - Contribs) 13:36, 4 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Marce1979! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 875 article backlog. Proposed deletion of Spazio, Tempo, Eternità

edit

The article Spazio, Tempo, Eternità has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Couldn't establish WP:NOTABILITY

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
