Christchurch edit

The changes you made to maximum temperatures didn't match the source, which can readily be viewed at http://www.niwa.co.nz/__data/assets/file/0005/57632/data_maxairtemp_space.csv (or follow the reference in the article to see the same data in other formats). If you have more recent information, you will need to add a new reference, but you should realise that NIWA is probably the most authoritative source for such data.-gadfium 05:38, 17 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your edits on 31 October to the way the climate data are presented have been reverted. The new chart had been discussed on the article's talk page. If you've got any issues with the new format, please discuss these on the talk page first, rather than simply reverting it to the previous form. Also, it is considered good editing etiquette to provide an edit summary. You'll see a box below right underneath the edit window that is labelled "Edit summary (Briefly describe the changes you have made)"; please put a few words in there each time you edit a page before you hit the save button. It helps other editors understand where you are coming from / what changes you have made (and why). Schwede66 04:31, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
