On the contrary:

A) I won't relish it at all - it's just something I'll do from time-to-time.

B) I wouldn't be crazy - it doesn't mean that much to me.

C) Nobody could get in my way - there are no individual ways, just the Wikipedia policies.

Thanks, though, for the original support, and giving me the benefit of the doubt. --barneca (talk) 21:49, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

RFA Thanks

Dreadstar RfA

Thanks for your support, I took the easy way out of thanking everyone by borrowing someone else's thank you card design...but know that I sincerely appreciate your support and confidence in me! I also greatly appreciated your staunch defense..! Dreadstar 05:09, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Re: Weak Oppose for RfA for Captmondo

Hello there:

Before answering your opposition I just wanted to be sure that we are talking about the same thing: could you define what you mean by "wikispace edits"? I am assuming that this means working on procedural tasks (i.e. Feature Article and Good Article nominations, and discussions on same), right?

Perhaps asking this question alone disqualifies me for Adminship, but I'd rather be an informed than blunder into a baseless response.

Cheers! Captmondo 19:57, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for the response. I hadn't realized that that was a prerequisite for Adminship, but am certainly up to the task. I may or may not make it as an Admin this time around, but in any event I will make more of an effort to contribute to this area to the best of my ability. Cheers! My knowledge of policy

Hi,

Thanks for sounding off your opinion on my RFA.

You asked to prove my knowledge of policy on your talk page.

I don't exactly know how do you want me to prove it, but if you want to test me in any way, go ahead. As I said in the discussion there - I read the policy back and forth a long time before I nominated myself. Because the policy documents are so well written, I didn't need to ask for much help about them - I can read them myself. I don't think that I need to participate in a discussion of a policy document to be able to implement it correctly.

If you still want tangible proof, take a look at the list of AFD's that I proposed. The list is not long, but I think that it's enough of a proof. Most of them were eventually deleted, which proves my good understanding of what Wikipedia is and what it is not. I also withdrew some of them in a friendly manner, which proves that I can learn from mistakes.

If there is anything more that I can clarify, please tell me. Thanks in advance. --Amir E. Aharoni 07:12, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Barneca RfA thank you spam

Malinaccier, thank you for your support during my RfA, especially after the concerns that were brought up by other editors. I'll keep all of the comments in mind in the coming months, and will try again later (and I'll have more wikispace edits by then, too!). In the mean time, if you see me doing something stupid, please let me know. See you around. --barneca (talk) 12:58, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your participation for my RFA bid and for your support.--JForget 23:28, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

My RfA

Hi,

I succeeded at my RfA nomination.

I strongly believe in the "a discussion is not a vote" policy and the concerns that you raised were civil and challenging, so I thank you for that. --Amir E. Aharoni 23:59, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Nehrams2020 RfA Thanks

Thank you for your participation in my RfA, which closed successfully with unanimous support. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and vote and I can't wait to learn the new tools and further immerse myself into Wikipedia! Please don't hesitate to point out any errors I make so I can prevent them from occurring again. I'm always here to help, so if you ever need anything, just let me know. Also, thanks to Wizardman for nominating me and for guiding many other editors to become admins. Again, thank you and happy editing! --Nehrams2020 06:55, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Edokter RfA

  Dear Malinaccier,

Thank you for your participation in my Request for Adminship, which ended succesfully with 26 supports, 3 opposes and 1 neutral. A special thanks goes to Rlevse for nominating me. I appreciate all the support and constructive criticism offered in my RfA. Please do not hesitate to point out any errors I will make (unintentionally of course), so I won't make them again. Please contact me if you need anything done, that's what I'm here for!

Fabrictramp RFA

Thank you for your support in my Request for Adminship, which passed with 50 supports, 1 neutral, and 1 oppose. My goal is to keep earning your trust every time I grab the "mop". (And I'm always open to constructive criticism and advice!) Again, thanks. --Fabrictramp 15:29, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Three Revert

Are you honestly quoting policy at me? Come on, man, you know me. Whatever happened to giving established editors the benefit of the doubt? My reverts are exclusively to improve the article. I'm not going to apologize for violating the rule, as I did it in the best interest of the article and the project. I'll revert my edits, but someone else needs to clean up after me. GlassCobra 02:11, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

I highly doubt I'll be banned for acting in the best interest of the project. I may have broken the letter of the law, but I was still upholding it in spirit. My annoyance with you stems merely from you unnecessarily quoting policy at me, a user who has not only read the policy, but warned others in the past about it. GlassCobra 02:53, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Sure. I know you had good intentions. GlassCobra 00:19, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
