Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Alexey Tsoi, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 09:15, 16 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I am editing the article Alexey Tsoi and, first of all, I am adding relevant information, please do not delete the edits. MakhmutNurzhan (talk) 09:41, 16 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
You need to provide references for any significant changes or additions you make to articles, or it will be reverted. If you need help adding references, check out the tutorial at Help:Introduction to referencing with VisualEditor. — AP 499D25 (talk) 11:29, 16 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Good afternoon, please, this is very important to us, we ask you to help change the spelling of the surname to the correct one ("Tsoy" is the correct spelling of the surname). How can we change the name Tsoi to Tsoy everywhere in this article

We are the official representatives of Tsoy A., we are employees of the organization that he heads now, we are employees of the public relations and media department MakhmutNurzhan (talk) 03:54, 17 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi MakhmutNurzhan! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. First of all, since you have a conflict of interest (COI) with the subject that you are looking to edit here, have a read through the Wikipedia conflict of interest guideline (simplified version here) and also the Wikipedia Organisations FAQ. I would disclose any COI that you have, especially if you are editing for pay. I strongly advise you to make change requests on the talk page of articles for which you have a COI for, rather than edit them directly. The COI edit request template can be used to do this.
If you need help, have a browse through Wikipedia's help directory, or feel free to ask a question at the Teahouse. — AP 499D25 (talk) 04:54, 17 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, MakhmutNurzhan. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Alexey Tsoy, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Kj cheetham (talk) 19:25, 18 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
