Reverting edits on Yinon Yahel article

Hi Majed92, you have just reasserted material that I removed from the article Yinon Yahel yesterday. The reason I deleted the content was because it was either grammatically incorrect, the formatting was poor, and there was a gross lack of citations; the singles production discography was overlong, lacked proper markup, and had no citations whatsoever. If you wish to replace this material, please try to improve it by fixing the errors I have pointed out rather than just putting it back the way it was, this doesn't make the article better, it makes it illegible. Yinon himself is talking to you? This is a conflict of interest on Wikipedia, and it infringes on existing policies. At this point it is probably best that you not add any material to the page unless it it properly referenced, otherwise this conflict of interest will be reported and your account may be blocked. Well, if you're referring to the production discography, then that's a lot of work and I don't necessarily want to dedicate myself to it. It would mean properly formatting each entry using the appropriate wikimarkup (not the way it was previously), and ideally, adding a few references. This is something you can do on your own since it seems you are invested in the project. All you have to do is look at the way singles, or songs, are entered into discographies on other pages. You can also look at the production discography of other musicians/producers. I don't want to do all this work, but I'll be happy to help with pointers, if needed. Majed92Unfortunately what you added to the article doesn't fit the markup style at all. You need to learn how to do this first, and the best way to do so is to practice in your sandbox. As I suggested to you before, please take a good look at other articles and try to match their style rather than just doing whatever. Here, how about this one? The Neptunes production discography#1996. Don't worry too much about recreating the full box with all the parameters, that might be more work than it's worth. I would say focus on the material from 1996 onward, you can use that as a template for the way you structure the discography of Yinon Yahel. I do ask, however, that before you publish anything on the page, publish it on your sandbox first. You don't currently have much experience and it is a lot of work to go behind you and try to fix every little error, so at least in your sandbox you get to practice and you can compare what you've created to other pages. Hi Majed92, this looks much better than it did before. It still needs work—each song title should have quotation marks around it, as you have done with some of them, for example. Additionally, at the moment the article has a "Discography" section followed by a "Partial discography" section, which doesn't make sense. You are creating a production discography, so let's call it that. Actually, have you thought about creating a separate article for Yahel's production discography? This is common for music producers who are as prolific as he is, as you saw with the Neptunes article which I shared with you last time. I think that would be a better option because at the moment, the lengthy production discography that you are creating clutters up the article. Let me know what you think. I am glad its better, still I will continue editing by adding more citations and as you said the qoutation marks, for creating a separate article for the discography, i need to finish adding the citations first then we can create a separate aritcle, I am watching writing wikipedia articles: tue basics and beyonds course, after I finish this course I will start creating separate articles. I notice that the article is starting to look messy again. I was really hoping that you would do all this stuff in your sandbox first, as I had requested. You don't need to mention each individual song that Yahel has produced, especially if you add it to the discography. I will likely remove some of the latest material you have added in order to streamline the article. Listen, at this moment my suggestion is to just make a separate article rather than creating more work for both of us by constantly adding material that is not suited to the current article. How it looks messy? ...I didn't add any new info after you told me it is good unless some links as citations and one song rearranged because I found a resource that states a different credit to Yinon; PLEASE don't delete anything I have had a hard time searching on the internet and it took me days... I even didn't add quotations as you told me... Please, again, don't delete anything.

I'm a bit concerned because I get the feeling that you are rushing to put all this information on the page for some reason. There really shouldn't be any reason to rush, unless you are under some kind of pressure. I have asked you more than once to practice first in your sandbox before you publish anything, given that you lack the requisite experience, but you haven't heeded this. I've mentioned to you that there are two section titles with "discography" in them, which doesn't make sense, but again, you haven't fixed this. I'm not sure what's going on but I get the impression that you want to publish this information no matter what, which is worrying. If you are being paid to do this work then I must tell you that this is not ok on Wikipedia. Hello Sir, What makes you have this concern? The article editing took nearly a week! I didn't add anything new, just a few lines with citations! The remaining was already in the article before you delete it; believe me, it was a coincidence that I was watching the article for two days before you start editing it; when I saw you deleted the information, I decided to restore it, and you are right I am new, and I didn't know that I have to practice in my sandbox, I am not in a rush, I just needed to gain experience and make a perfect edit to a random article which was Yinon Yahel article by coincidence. I am NOT paid! Who would pay a non-experienced one? It's only that habit I have; if I started something, I continue in it until finishing it perfectly; that's what I am trying to do. And I have a question, why you changed your mind? you said that the article looks good, then changed your mind and said it messy. I didn't add anything but 3-4 citations. Is that what made it messy suddenly?

Again I am not experienced, I want to learn, and I thought you would be my teacher here since you are here for a long time. For the two discography sections, I was searching for citations to the added info, and I considered it a first mission, I didn't finish it, and I can't jump from one mission to another, that what may make the article messy and if I did that, I would look like in a rush? Right?

Hello Sir, I understand your concern and let me explain, I was interested in becoming a Wikipedia editor, and the interest came after I was thinking of improving my skills as an editor and proofreader. Since Wikipedia is a place that anyone can edit, I decided to start here. First, I hadn't any experience to deal with the site, so I have searched for a course that talks about editing Wikipedia articles; I was happy to find a course here on this page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Writing_Wikipedia_Articles_course. Then I started watching this course. One of the small tasks in the course to edit an article; I chose Yinon Yahel article and didn't edit anything in it for 2 days; I was only watching it when I surprised that most of the article was deleted, so I decided to get back what has been deleted as of a start for me as an editor. I added only five lines as new information. When I finished, the previous editor User:Revirvlkodlaku contacted me and told me that I need to add proper markup and citation if I want to restore the deleted info. I said, ok, I decided to do my best; I have rearranged the info in tables, which was my first experience. I didn't know that I need to do that in my sandbox at first. Once I finished, he said that it looks good now and advised me with a few things to edit. I said ok and started again. The next day, he changed his mind and told me that the article looks messy (although I didn't change anything much, I only added a few citations); I don't know why the good turned into messy. In summary, I didn't bring too much new info; I only restored the deleted one with proper citation (which took me days to find the proper one) and there is no one paying me for doing that. And I think I am not welcomed in Wikipedia, why? I didn't add any wrong info. All the thing is that I lack experience in editing (no one will be born with experience, I am trying), which I am trying to have. I only have one request, please don't make him waste the time I spent searching and citing the article by deleting it because he doesn't like it.

Be that as it may, you are being paid to edit the Yinon Yahel article. I'm not sure that "confirming" is the right word, but yes, it is clear that you were hired to edit the article. This happens a lot, but what I'm hoping is that you choose to follow the steps outlined at Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure. It certainly isn't easy to engage in paid editing, as there are a lot of processes that you need to follow and it can be difficult to meet a client's expectations given the limitations of what can be done, but it is possible. - Bilby (talk) 07:48, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Very early in January an ad was placed on Upwork to hire someone to edit the Yinon Yahel article. The next day you started editing the article, using a username almost identical to the person who was hired on Upwork. After you were reverted here, the Upwork job was reopened, with the comment "in the meanwhile some one here decided to delete my info instead of helping me out because i hired some one else . i honestly doesn't get it . thanks". - Bilby (talk) 19:46, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Well, that right, it's me. Still, I had a deal with the person who hired me to give good feedback(no money, just recommendation) via Upwork in exchange for adding only 7-9 lines. Still, it went messy because the user:Revirvlkodlaku decided to delete already existed information. Is it not that weird to start deleting info at the same time?... I decided to help by rearranging the deleted info, as Revirvlkodlaku suggested to me.
