Libby, Montana

Dear Magnolia677, I do not know why you keep removing the external link www.explorelibbymontana.com from Libby Montana's wikipedia page. I humbly ask that you please stop doing it. Explorelibbymontana.com is a website completely about Libby Montana and it is absolutely free for the town of Libby Montana. It does not generate any income and its not an advertising website. It features all of Libby Montana's recreation, lodging, shopping, restaurants, churches, schools, events and basically everything there is to know about Libby Montana. Its the only website that Libby Montana's has that does this. Also you keep changing the external link for the City of Libby's website www.libbymontana.com to read "Official Website" instead of leaving it to read "City of Libby's website" which is what it is. I humbly ask that you also quit changing that. The City of Libby's website is only for Libby city limits (approximately 2,000 residents) and does not include information for the rest of the town, which is an additional 10,000 residents and other Libby area attractions. I understand and respect that you are trying to make and keep wikipedia pages top notch and within wiki guidelines. So I appreciate your efforts, however the changes that you are making to Libby Montana's wiki page are not correct so I kindly ask that you please stop making them. I am going to go ahead and change the links back to how they were. If you disagree with me then I ask that rather than continuing to delete the links please contact me. Thanks for the note of encouragement. I plan to do some trimming of the History section too, which is quite long. Also, the text in the Seaports section under Transport seems out of place; I'm thinking the first half belongs in the Port article, and the second half probably belongs in the Economy section. You have NEVER in your life been more wrong about something.

• 1. If you look at the ECIF data you will see it was taken with a $1200 dollar Leica.
• 2. If you care to know it was taken from the cockpit of a Pilatus PC-12 ($4, million dollars). Commercial aircraft do not fly low over La Jolla.
• 3. I requested special permission from ATC (that means Air Traffic Control) to get THAT SHOT FOR THAT PAGE. Your concept of lead photos being one of a street or a courthouse is not to policy and after 6 years here, I have never, ever heard that from any editor before.

Do not revert my photos please, if you have issues use the talk pages. Please try to use some decorum and class with your edit summaries. If your going to try to claim that someone used a cel phone at least look at the ECIF data rather then simply make it up. Yes definitely, although that blog cannot be used as a reference obviously. Actually I think it is the namesake of Junius R. Ward House, isn't it? The wisest course of action is usually to start a userpage and look for serious references, then write an article and move it to a proper article once it is strong enough. At least that is what I tend to do for bios (for example with User:Zigzig20s/Joseph Newmark). Btw, I e-mailed Hampden-Sydney College to ask them if they had a portrait of Foote anywhere on their campus. We will see if they reply.Zigzig20s (talk) 05:53, 20 March 2015 (UTC)

As this edit demonstrates the rather clear intention of the editor who crafted the wording of MOS:INFOBOXFLAG and as the previous wording was causing you much confusion and leading to misinterpretations on your part, I will be reverting your recent edit to that article. If you have a genuine difference of opinion from Carlossuarez46 and the rest of the community about the interpretation of this policy, it would be best to raise your concerns at the article's talk page. From dandtiks69: I see you think the information I put about Searchlight, Nevada, is false and un-cited. Now, let me ask you this: have you even played Fallout: New Vegas? You're comment on Searchlight not even appearing in the game page shows you are purposefully being ignorant (no offence intended, but that's how it is right now). This is how the information should read:

In Fallout: New Vegas (setting: post-nuclear Nevada), a place named Camp Searchlight is based off of the town in real-life Nevada. Originally, it read that a nuclear bomb hit Camp Searchlight, and so I corrected it to read somebody opened steel drums containing radioactive waste because in the story that's how it happened. Even the Fallout wiki says this, and it even links Camp Searchlight from Wikipedia into the page!

Now, I know Fallout: New Vegas is not completely accurate in terms of geography (the map was scaled down slightly to include parts of Nevada, California, and Arizona), but to ignore my citations is not something you can do to people in Wikipedia, because it is a place for learning, not punishment or training. And to say I put uncited information in previous articles is irrelevant. I hope you understood, if you choose to understand.

Also, I forgot to mention that the game's storyline is short, but the sidestory is insanely expansive, and the many side quests that compose the game have the background story implied. The game starts off saying that the population of the US survived in vaults after the nuclear holocaust, but that's as far as it gets into the story: the rest the player has to piece together. Because of this, I realize that Camp Searchlight may not have been included in the page for the game because it involves a side quest into the barely-explored sections of the game. Now, here's another question: is there a way to make sources come from Youtube?

First, you should know it is standard procedure for any i-ban to be mutual, even if only one party has actually done anything wrong yet. It is far from uncommon for people who have had someone else i-ban with them to engage in conduct which they probably wouldn't have engaged in before the i-ban which might merit some attention. Gloating, "grave-dancing," that sort of thing. You can perhaps feel free to think of the i-ban in your own regard as being more cautionary than penalizing. Also, you will note that you are still free to appeal to others in the event your interactions with Alansohn become problematic. If someone (not necessarily you, you understand, but just someone) were to engage in activity which clearly violates the i-ban, in a rather egregious way, well, that someone might be subject to a rather long block or limited topic ban, like, maybe, a specific city or subfield of NJ, like its economy, streets, a given city or county, whatever. Yeah, it generally is the case that material repeated in the lede, but sourced in the article itself, doesn't need sourcing in the lede, provided the material in the lede doesn't deviate pronouncedly from the material that is sourced in the body. John Carter (talk) 01:02, 30 April 2015 (UTC)

Did you notice that there were nineteen additional names in Notable people that were also unsourced? Those names are still in the section. I don't understand the reasoning and logic for SELECTIVE deletes. If you're going to delete my entry, you might as well delete the other nineteen entries in the Mount Kisco article, because that information is also unsourced.

I have to admit that I don't understand why I waste my time and effort making constructive edits to Wikipedia.

(talk page stalker) The reason Magnolia removed Ms. Lee and the others is that there was no referenced content in their bios linking them to the community. In Lee's case, there was contradictory content. So that begs the question where did your information that she belonged on that list come from? In case you didn't know it, ALL content in the encyclopedia is supposed to come from already published reliable sources. So we're you just too lazy to cite where you read it, or is your idea of a useful contribution adding your personal knowledge? If the latter is the case, please don't continue. Thanks.
