ADHD
editAdult ADHD is a relatively new diagnosis and has not yet been officially recognized by the DSM. Research is even more limited in adult than in children. Potential side effects such as increased MI and increased BP are also a greater concern. Stimulants are none specific in there actions. They increase certain traits like ability to concentrate which I guess is why the US airforce uses Ritalin in its pilots.
