Wikipedia began to eat up my time sometime around the summer of 2005. I spend most of my time doing either admin stuff, working with the Latter Day Saint WikiProject, or doing RC patrol as part of the Counter Vandalism Unit. Oh yeah, and I try to keep my alma mater's page clean. I'm a youth group director, a cyclist, a tikiphile, a coffee drinker, a kayaker, and country line dancer. Oh, and my favorite word is "flying buttress." Okay, two words. Whatever. For those who enjoy killing time by keeping up with userpages, I recently was hired as the Director of Youth Ministry at a church in The Woodlands, Texas. Life is sweet; how many other jobs are considered working while playing frisbee, going out for lunch with students, or hanging out on the beach?

We've all got one, and if you've gone this far, you may as well know mine.
A perfunctory glance over my user page and interests should make it clear that I take my Christianity seriously; it's unfortunate that many have grown to consider the institutions of faith and academia as opposites, or, at best, uncomfortable companions. In reality, truth is truth, and a person grounded in their convictions should have nothing to fear from what science or history can prove — and vice versa. I hope that is reflected in my edits, but I realize that my biases may seep into articles I edit, especially those that I'm most interested in (Christianity, Mormonism, and social justice to name a few). To that end, I'd appreciate constructive criticism and / or support on my talk page if you've got an issue with my edits.
