Speedy deletion nomination of Alpine Camp for Boys

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Alpine Camp for Boys requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 19:39, 27 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Did you not read my user page? Seems like you don't care about your job. I will definitely be editing more articles, my speedy-go-lucky friend. MR CRAZYGUY666 (talk) 18:14, 30 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I was creating a page for a summer camp I went to yearrrrss ago. I needed to go to my sister's soccer game, so I was only able to put a few things down that I could finish when I got back. When I got back, however, the power was out. Our house had been accidentally cut of the power grid because our neighbors hadn't been paying their electricity bills. We were not able to have power until today, and when I hopped on wikipedia to finsih what I started, the page had been deleted. I though, "oh well I'll just get ot re-instasted with the page un deletion thing. I found i was banned! I went to appeal myself in my user talk page, I was not able to edit it! One of your ever so helpful administrators did NOT read my user talk page, and banned me without a true reason. I put im my user page, "talk to be (*me) about it" in response to if I did something worng (i.e. accidentally violating wikipedia guidelines). I just want to edit articles such as the school I graduated ffrom, my favorite summer camp, and ahunger organization i volunteered for."Assuming good faith (AGF) means assuming that people are not deliberately trying to hurt Wikipedia, even when their actions are harmful. This is a fundamental principle on Wikipedia. Most people try to help the project, not hurt it. If this were untrue, a project like Wikipedia would be doomed from the beginning." Decline reason:

You are blocked, not banned, the two words do not mean the same thing here. Wikipedia is not responsible for technical problems you are having on your end, nor do we have any way of being aware of those. In examining your attempted edits that filters prevented, most of them seem unproductive. Other edits that you actually made were unsourced. We are under no obligation to communicate with you first if it is necessary to stop your disruption- stopping disruption is a primary task of admins. You may have intended your edits in good faith, but a mess made in good faith is still a mess. You'll need to tell us what will change about your editing going forward and demonstrate that you have the skills, knowledge, and maturity needed to participate here. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 06:18, 31 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please review this ban appeal. Still cannot beleive i was banned by BBG. Please, BBG, look at my user page. MR CRAZYGUY666 (talk) 18:48, 30 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I was blocked for creating an article without formating it correctly. I have now learned how to format articles, and used the sandbox mode to do it myself. I see the reasons why and i beleive they were pretty fair. I am asking to be unblocked because I want to be able to share my knowledge of different topics through Wikipedia. This was my first article, and i did not read the instructions on creating a proper article. I want to fix that. I have read the articles on how to create articles, and i beleive i can add-on to the Wikipedia knowledge base. I have tried multiple times to do this, but each time I was in a rush. This time, however, I have taken my time. I have read as much as i can about this situation, and how i could fix the problem that i accidently created. I am most definitely here to build a encyclopedia, but I was not before. I took to big of strides-and promptly fell down. I beleivein my ability to follow the rules and guidelines, and not make such a mess, "a mess made in good faith is still a mess." I don't want to make messes. I want to fix them. Regarding skill, knowledge, and maturity, I may not be a technological genius, but i have spent hours on how to create a PROPER Wikipedia page. I do have yhe knowledge now, and i beleive i posess the skill to create a wikipedia page. Maturity, on the other hand, is easily explained. I was not being immature- I was simply being uninformed (which is why i came to Wikipedia.com a few years ago and created this account), and I want to make sure other people can become informed about topics such of the summer camp I made an artcile for. Please, as I came here to create something, let me create it. I came here to create. I realize that originally, i created destructibly, but i now firmly understand the guidleines. Thank you for taking the time reviewing this block.

Decline reason:

It sounds like you're trying to sound more mature and competent. Although I appreciate the effort and give you credit for it, you're not really filling me with hope that you'd write competent encyclopedia articles. You don't seem to understand basic English rules like grammar, capitalization, and spelling. That's fine for most (perhaps all) other websites on the internet, but Wikipedia is supposed to be be readable and look a bit professional. If our encyclopedia articles are full of poor writing, people will stop coming here. If you're dead set on editing Wikipedia, please write a new unblock request that

  1. uses proper spelling, capitalization, and grammar
  2. includes an encyclopedic statement that can be copy-pasted into an existing article
  3. includes an inline citation to a reliable source that verifies the encyclopedic statement

You can learn how to do this by reading through our introduction and the links that I've already posted. Yeah, you'll have to do some reading, but that's kind of the point of blocking people who are causing problems. It's to force them to read our help pages and policies, then let them back in once we're sure they understand them. Once we know for a fact that you can write properly and add encyclopedic content, we'll let you edit again. If all this seems like to too much effort to just join some stupid website, I understand. Wikipedia isn't for everyone. You might prefer websites like Uncyclopedia, TV Tropes, Wikia, etc. These are wikis that are more kid-oriented and don't have stodgy rules. K. I've moved on to Uncyclopedia now. I followed Wikipedia guidelines, strangly enough. Bye now!
