Request reason:

Can I please have my account unblocked? i'm not sure why it was blocked as I have not violated any of the rules. Thank you.

Accept reason:

This isn't socking; the user was told to use the account he'd already created when asking for an unblock. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 22:05, 16 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Only, the supposed master was blocked solely for the username. Creating a new account with an acceptable username (and I do think this one doesn't violate the username policy) in such cases is explicitly permitted; in fact, it's recommended: "please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual", says the block message. Are there any further reasons for the block beyond them likely being User:EntertainmentAssociates? If there aren't, I'd unblock this account, and leave a comment at the other account to clarify that they don't need an unblock for that account if this is them. There's also the WP:COI/WP:AUTO aspect as it's the same person as the subject of the article. However, you're welcome to handle as you see fit. I missed that it was a softblock username block; thought it was a hard block one. Just a couple of days ago I softblocked a promotional name and was told by another admin not to since it encourages socking so... mixed signals! Like I said, you're welcome to handle this in whichever way you deem appropriate. only (talk) 21:14, 16 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
I'd actually told him this account was OK to use: [1]. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 22:05, 16 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for handling, Jpgordon. Just to note, though, whatever account you'd seen in 2013 isn't the same as this one since it was created just today. only (talk) 22:16, 16 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

{unblock| So can I please be unblock? Please let me know if I need to change my usnername or exactly what is needed? in not clear on what I need to do. Thank you}}

OK, you're unblocked now. But you need to study these policies: WP:COI and WP:AUTO. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 22:07, 16 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thank you!!!

Please bear in mind that our articles must be expressed neutrally. The phrasing you are using at Curtis Williams is too promotional and biased toward the subject (yourself). Saying things like "Victor swore Williams’s ability to light up the room and his charming energy he was indeed a young star in the making" and "Williams would continue to shine..." are not examples of the neutral tone that is appropriate for an encyclopedia article. I'd suggest taking a look at WP:AUTO and WP:COI in addition to WP:NPOV. It's really a good idea for you to step away from the article about yourself. only (talk) 00:52, 20 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
