Major Highways

Hi, thanks for leaving a message for me. I realize that the highway sections in question are indeed often labeled "Major Highways" instead of "Major highways". Personally, I think that goes against the guideline found here. Most articles usually go by this guideline and I don't know why "Major Highways" or "Adjacent Counties" sections should be any different. I really think that only the first word of section headers should be capitalized. --MatthewUND(talk) 05:28, 30 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I checked the Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. counties, for a template for counties and found that there it is posted as "Major highways", however when the template was first written all headers were capitalized, which probably explains why some states have headings capitalized. The capitalization of the headings in counties was removed from the template on December 5th, 2004, so anything before than would have been capitalized... Thanks, --MNAdam 06:17, 30 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

UK/US Spelling (Falkirk Wheel)

In the UK, the proper spelling is "metre". Since Falkirk Wheel is in Scotland, which is in the UK, then the preferred spelling in the article is the UK spelling. --RealGrouchy 06:26, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ok, just curious how is it pronounced in the UK is it still pronounced met"er" or is it said different?--MNAdam 20:07, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Dakota County pictures

I think it's possible that the formatting looks different on different screens. On my screen, prior to my change today, one of the thumbs was split by the horizontal bar under Demographics. Now, both pictures are above that bar, under the infobox, to the right of the roads and adjacent counties. Is that how it looks to you? Appraiser 21:54, 17 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

The link to Mustang Mapping is not their for advertising. Mustang Mappping is the most respected mapping firm in central Minnesota and their maps of Benton and the surrounding counties are up to date on a monthly basis. They are quite a bit more useful than google, yahoo or mapquest when looking at new developments or the actual current road structure. I have re-added the link and would like to do so for a few other counties as well. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tylerkellen (talkcontribs) 23:50, November 20, 2006.

Burnsville, MN page

About the red links that I edited out ... It's good to know why they are there and hopefully it will encourage someone to create those pages. Sorry for removing the link tags from them, and thank you very much for letting me know, I'm still learning the ropes and it will sure help my editing from now on.
