Hello, MClevinger, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Talk:Poker Joe, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. – Aranya (talk) 02:44, 19 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, thank you for the input. We did that. Keep in mind this was our first edit and it was a college course project.

Phoenix stardansar

edit

Hi. I was wondering if you could confirm that user:Phoenix stardansar is your grandfather, as he is attempting to edit your userpage claiming to be your grandfather. CLCStudent (talk) 21:55, 5 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. I have never heard of this person before last night when they suggested the information on the Poker Joe wiki we worked on was incorrect. Specifically the section on Poker Joe's death. They claim to be a decendant of Poker Joe and the information on the wiki was incorrect and wanted to change it saying Poker Joe never died as is reported in documented hsitory.
