Moving articles to draft

edit

Hello, you've moved several articles such as Kelly Cole to draft, but you haven't given reasons in your WP:Edit summaries for the moves. Why are you moving them? Thanks, Wikishovel (talk) 16:01, 19 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

I concur; there was no reason to move Cover FX to draft space, so I have reverted for now. Happy to discuss here or on the page's talk page. Quick, Spot the Quetzalcoatl! (talk) 16:35, 19 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
No reply from you yet here, but you've just moved Kelly Cole to draft again, with the edit summary "lacks sufficient corresponding inline citations, need improve".
However, you haven't informed the creator of the article that you've moved it, and you've incorrectly left a link from main space to the draft. I've nominated Kelly Cole for speedy deletion db-r2 to fix the second problem.
Please now leave a message at User talk:Nayemparvaze, informing them that you've moved the article they started to draft. {{uw-articletodraft}} can be used for this if you wish. User:Significa liberdade also made significant edits to the article: it would be courteous to let them know of the move as well. Wikishovel (talk) 12:51, 20 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Fine, I will edit and comment Loxus Huaw (talk) 12:52, 20 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi, I moved Solstice Sunglasses back to mainspace as well. In general, the community thinks that articles that have been in in the mainspace for more than 90 days should not be draftifed and instead if you think it isn't notable it should be nominated for deletion via the WP:PROD or WP:AFD process. You also should notify the creator when you draftify an article normally. Both of those are to help prevent using the draft space as a "backdoor" deletion process since unedited drafts are deleted after 6 months. Thanks! Skynxnex (talk) 14:39, 1 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
