Welcome! edit

Hello Losea, is one of the pages I watch for changes.

Hi Losea58! I noticed your contributions because Pando (tree) is one of the articles I watch for changes and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay.

I also have some more specific information about your interests. I noticed you used the FAQ on friendsofpando.com as a source in your recent edit. That is fine, but do be cautious about using the webpages of advocacy groups. They can be good sources, but they also have agendas and so can have a bias in what they will report. I have sometimes run into this issue when looking at sources like the webpage of the Save the Redwoods League. They are important as a source for information about how humans think about and interact with a species or plant, but I take what they report with a grain of salt and look to confirm it in other sources.

External links edit

I removed an external link that you added to Pando (tree) because generally there should not be external links in the body of an article. See:Wikipedia:External links for more information. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (note spelling difference) does have a Wikipedia page and I put in an internal link to that article. I, think this is the agency you meant. 🌿MtBotany (talk) 17:15, 6 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
