License tagging for Image:JDwBz.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:JDwBz.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:08, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

Dirk roshier

edit

The article Dirk roshier has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a person or group of persons but it does not indicate how or why that person or group is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. Personal attack warning

This is your only warning. The next time you make a personal attack, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. - Harryboyles 23:59, 15 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Note that messages like this one are also unnecessarily incivil. A simple inquiry what IMHO means would have sufficed. Sandstein 06:10, 1 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. No deletion logs exist

edit
Moved from Wikipedia talk:Why was my page deleted?

Image:JDwBz.jpg was deleted (due to my former lack of wikipedia knowledge) however there is no deletion log. Could the deleting admin please contact me via my userpage? Thanks Lord fabs 12:13, 16 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

There is a log; see here. IMHO, the deletion was correct, as the article the image illustrated was also deleted, and it has no (other) encyclopedic purpose. Sandstein 13:57, 16 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
