Malik noureed awan edit

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Malik noureed awan, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://noureedawan.com/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. September 2013 edit

Hello, I'm Smsarmad. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Malik Noureed Awan seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SMS Talk 17:11, 27 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Malik Noureed Awan. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. SMS Talk 17:12, 27 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Malik Noureed Awan. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. SMS Talk 13:42, 28 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

I undid your recent edit to Malik Noureed Awan edit

Hello, I'm Davidwr. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living person on Malik Noureed Awan, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page.

It also appears that you may have a strong interest in adding material to this article that casts this person in a positive light rather than maintaining the Neutral Point of View which Wikipedia requires. Please read Wikipedia:Neutral point of view before editing this article further. Also, your strong determination to craft an article about this person suggests that you might have a conflict of interest when writing about this subject. Please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and put a note on Talk:Malik Noureed Awan stating whether you do or do not have a conflict of interest, or if you are unsure, state that you are unsure. I also noticed a message waiting for you on Talk:Malik Noureed Awan. Please read it, reply to it, and address the issues raised before editing the article further. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 22:03, 29 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Also, please remember to mark your edits as "minor" only if they are small edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labelled "minor". Thank you. Minima© (talk) 10:33, 30 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. --SMS Talk 06:30, 30 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring at Malik Noureed Awan edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for edit warring, as you did at Malik Noureed Awan. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

The complete report of this case is at WP:AN3#User:Lollywoodcafe reported by User:Smsarmad (Result: 31 hours). You continue to remove criticism from this article and you never join in discussions. Be aware that a longer block is possible if this continues. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 13:25, 30 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

October 2013 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Malik Noureed Awan. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. SMS Talk 03:32, 2 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Malik Noureed Awan - which version should stand? edit

You have recently edited Malik Noureed Awan. Please see Talk:Malik Noureed Awan#Call for reasons why the NPOV/poorly-referenced version should stand and contribute your thoughts. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 19:02, 2 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please do not mark non-minor edits as minor edit

Please do not mark edits as minor unless they are truly minor issues that nobody would want to undo, such as fixing typographical or grammatical errors or fixing truly broken formatting (if the formatting is just ugly but not "broken," do not mark the edit as minor). 8 of your last 10 edits to Malik Noureed Awan were clearly NOT minor but they were marked as such.

Marking non-minor edits as minor makes it more difficult for those who do recent changes patrol to do their work. When repeated, misusing the "minor edit" check-box is considered disruptive. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 19:14, 2 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Continued edit warring edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for edit warring.

- Barek (talkcontribs) - 22:31, 2 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

AFTER your block expires edit

If you want to discuss suggested changes to Malik Noureed Awan similar to those which I and other editors have reverted on many occasions, please do so on Talk:Malik Noureed Awan. I and others have this page "watchlisted" so we will notice if you or anyone else opens a discussion.

Be aware that any material you wish to add should be referenced with reliable sources independent of the subject and any changes must result in an article that has a neutral point of view. Any other suggested edits are likely to be turned down. Any edits which go against consensus or any edits similar to the ones you have done in the past which are made without discussion are likely to result in a longer block. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 22:45, 2 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
