Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Threatq", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it is a name of website www.threatq.com and you already started inserting the link in articles like you did here. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you.  — Ammarpad (talk) 17:24, 3 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Threat Intelligence Platform. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 05:06, 5 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi and thanks for your message on my talk page. As the paragraph above states, the external link you added was inappropriate because it is to a website with which you are affiliated. If you believe the link adds value to the encyclopedia, you should suggest it on the article's talk page and then if another editor who does not have your conflict of interest can add it if they agree. Thanks, Melcous (talk) 20:39, 9 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
