Relationship with Flashpoint Chicago?

Do you have a relationship with Flashpoint Chicago? ElKevbo (talk) 19:35, 20 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please answer this question. It's difficult to overlook the fact that Edcura is a higher education consulting firm that appears to have Flashpoint as a client. If you are associated with Edcura, you have a conflict of interest. If you are associated with Edcura, you are also likely being paid to promote the institution and paid editing without disclosure is prohibited in Wikipedia.
Additionally, you are changing information that is supported by a source and replacing it with information that is not supported by a source. To help, I've explicitly added a source to the article. If you contest this information, you must provide one or more reliable sources. I opened a discussion in the article's Talk page about two months ago; you should participate. Hello, I work for Columbia College Hollywood so I am privy to the correct information regarding the accreditation status and campus resources. It is part of my job to keep this information up-to-date. We are currently communicating with IPEDS to have our non-profit status properly reflected. In the meantime, please see the source that I have explicitly provided from our accrediting body the WASC Senior College and University Commission that verifies that the college and its two campuses, Columbia College Hollywood and Flashpoint Chicago, are both non-profit institutions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lissette Edcura (talkcontribs) 13:07, January 23, 2020 (UTC)

Conflict of interest warning

edit

  Hello, Lissette Edcura. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. ElKevbo (talk) 18:39, 23 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
