Notice edit

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Keb25 10:50, 14 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Kaltura edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Kaltura, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.techcrunch20.com/2007/demopit_company.php?demopit=66. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 12:54, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Kaltura edit

A tag has been placed on Kaltura requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Regarding Kaltura edit

Please check out Wikipedia:Copyrights, Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials, and Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission, as they explain how to donate copyrighted material. After proceeding with those steps contact an administrator, and request that the article be undeleted, they should then do so. (Note: I am not an administrator so I cannot undelete the article.) If you have more questions post them on my talk page, I will try to answer them. VivioFateFan (Talk, Sandbox) 09:29, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Kaltura edit

To get this article undeleted you will need to go through WP:DRV and make your case there, with sources and basis for the article. So far every incarnation has been a neologism that has been deleted via AfD or just advertising with no sources. –– Lid(Talk) 13:14, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles, as you did to Collaboration, Commons-based peer production and Creative Commons. Advertising, and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox", is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. —Parhamr (talk) 20:42, 21 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add commercial material to Wikipedia, as you did to Collaboration. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. —Parhamr (talk) 18:10, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re: Kaltura edit

It seems that particular article has gone through AfD and been speedily deleted many times. You'll need to go to WP:DRV to have it unprotected. Cheers. --MZMcBride (talk) 04:15, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:Spot.whats.ogv edit

Thank you for uploading File:Spot.whats.ogv. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Skier Dude (talk) 06:44, 14 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Kaltura Logo osv.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Kaltura Logo osv.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Cloudbound (talk) 02:27, 6 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
