Madagascar plague articles
editHello Lisaromanopalacios, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed that you were looking into editing/merging the 2014 Madagascar plague outbreak and 2017 Madagascar plague outbreak articles, and I thought I'd stop by and give some advice. For merging articles, you might want to see WP:MERGE, which covers that topic. In this case, you probably wouldn't want to perform a merge, and instead create a new article (something like Madagascar plague outbreaks, or 21st century Madagascar plague outbreak if there are older plagues I'm not finding), and then redirect both pages to that, or move one of the pages to that (which you can do, as you're autoconfirmed, and will automatically create a redirect), to create a starting point, and then redirect the other page there. I'm not an expert in that area, but if there is significant coverage of each in reliable sources, you probably shouldn't merge them, unless they have a significant overlap. Also remember, Wikipedia is not essays!
If you have any questions, please ask - I'm watching my talk page, your talk page, and both of those articles, or simply use {{ping|LittlePuppers}} and I'll receive your message. Happy editing! LittlePuppers (talk) 03:23, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
