Kelly Lynch

edit

Regarding this edit that you made to the Kelly Lynch article, please see WP:REDLINK. Basically, red links aren't a bad thing. They show where articles might be needed. And when that article is added, then an editor doesn't have to go around to every actor's bio and make links to that article. Thanks, Dismas|(talk) 06:03, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Reliable sources

edit

When you're editing articles about living people, per WP:BLP, you must provide reliable sources to support your edits. Where are the sources which prove that Mark Ballas and Derek Hough are "best friends"? Everard Proudfoot (talk) 06:13, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

The way *I* read the tvguide.com link, it's saying that his sister Cheryl is his BFF. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 18:18, 15 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

90210

edit

Hello, I think your edit to the characters section on 90210 is good. However, I reverted your edits as you removed all sources given. If you make the edits again please don't take away the sources and I'll leave it alone. Jayy008 (talk) 14:47, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Because that's what Wikipedia is. Everything has to be referenced. Please add the refs back, I don't want to revert your edits again because they're very good. Jayy008 (talk) 23:08, 14 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

No, the only thing that has to be referenced is is the regular characters that left. It's not my rules, everything on Wikipedia has to be verified.

As for the other thing, I didn't put the episode counts so before acusing people of things, please check out the history of the page to see who has made the edit. You're not supposed to just remove information, if you think they're not recurring move it somewhere else. You removed 2 characters, a special guest a recurring character. Javier and Teddy's Dad. Please Add these back under different sections or you will be blocked from editing.

All that it needs is a source to say that Jessica Walter left and Dustin Milligan. You can either go back through the history and puts the ones back from before or google "Jessica Walter leaves 90210" and choose anyone. It's as simple as that. Jayy008 (talk) 11:14, 15 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Just because my name is there, doesn't mean I made that particular edit, I edited that box yes, but I didn't do that. Also I never said anything about reccurring not being 6 episodes, what I said was everything has to be sourced, I did it now anyway. Jayy008 (talk) 23:01, 18 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Fringe (season 3), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This has been explained to you many times. Repeated wikilinks are not forbidden. Stop removing them or you will be blocked. --Geniac (talk) 00:18, 14 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Smallville (season 10)

edit

If you see your work repeatedly removed, it might be recommended that you read the talk page for that page. The reason your "New and Returning Characters" edits have been removed (twice) is because the current consensus, however briefly discussed, is that two names doesn't really merit a section, especially for a final season where more names and information will continue to become available in the two months it will take to premeire. I won't be joining the removal team, but thought you deserved to know the rationale in case it should happen again. KnownAlias contact 13:05, 14 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

The two names you are adding are already on the page. There is no need to move them to their own section at this particular time because all we know is that they are going to appear. When we created the original "New and returning characters" section in season 9 it was because we had quite a bit of info on the new and returning characters. Right now we don't even know who the new baddie will officially be for the show.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 13:23, 14 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
