Jie Wu is currently a professor of Computer Science at the Florida Atlantic University. He serves as Program Director of Networking Technology and Systems (NeTS) at The National Science Foundation from 2005. He is noted for his research in routing for Wired and wireless networks.
Dr. Wu served as the General Chair of IEEE IPDPS 2008, WASA 2007, ISPA 2007, and MASS 2006. He is a Member of the Editorial Board of International Journal of Security and Networks (IJSN), International Journal of Sensor Networks (IJSNet), IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems (TPDS), International Journal of High Performance Computing and Networking (IJHPCN), Journal of Computer Science and Technology (JCS&T), Ad Hoc & Sensor Wireless Networks: An International Journal (AHSWN), International Journal of Parallel, Emergent, and Distributed Systems (IJPEDS), Journal of Pervasive Computing and Communications (JPCC), International Journal of Ad Hoc and Ubiquitous Computing (IJAHUC), ISCA International Journal of Computers and Their Applications (IJCA), and Journal of Interconnection Networks (JOIN).
He resides in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife and two children.
