Per Wikipedia policy pertaining to reliable sources, please understand that any data without a citation may be removed at any time. If you're having a dispute over cited data, please discuss on the article's talk page, the other user's talk page or, only when necessary, please use the dispute resolution process. If you have created additional accounts to make it appear that more than one person is editing, please let me know so I can block these accounts; knowingly using sockpuppets can get them all blocked indefinitely, including the puppeteer account. Warning:You have made an identical reversion 4 times in 26 hours, as if you are aware of WP:3RR and are attempting to avoid the letter of the policy. The editors with whom you are engaging in an edit war are making a good-faith effort to improve the article, and you need to read WP:OWN and WP:AGF immediately. Learn to work together with fellow editors and stop accusing them of vandalism when that clearly is false (and, it's Mathew with one "t"). Further edit-warring will result in page protection and blocks being issued. RadioKirk (u|t|c) 03:12, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

he is erasing award information. and putting a wrong chart table with false information.--Letoyabrigade 03:15, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Do you read when I'm writing you? Working together with an editor means talking to that editor, presenting citations if you believe the information is "false", using article talk pages and, if that fails, dispute resolution to work out disagreements, rather than engaging in edit wars and calling good-faith edits "vandalism". I've already warned you that what you thought was this editor's motives was misread; further activity to force your version of this article above all others constitutes disrupting the encyclopedia to make a point. Do you intend to edit productively, or do you mean to "protect" something that's not yours to begin with? RadioKirk (u|t|c) 03:23, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm not arguing about Mathew with on T. I'm talkin about the award information that he keeps removing. LeToya's single she don't will be released Early july not the 25th. source: [1] The table used for the charts position is use by other artist wich mention "chart positions" on the top of each chart. other artist for example are Christina Milian, Brandy, Monica, Ciara, and more more more more. why would letoya have a basic one????--Letoyabrigade 03:29, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Matthew/Mathew is within the reversion you keep making with no discussion (and, make no mistake, your only "discussion" with Musicpvm is to "warn" him for vandalism that doesn't exist). Similarly, the source you've just provided me is the first time you've actually cited a source in any of this mess. (Another page I need you to read is WP:V, which clearly states that the "threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth.") As for the chart table, I have not compared this one to the other pages you cite, but consistency demands that all comply with the Manual of Style and should be changed accordingly. The whole point in all of this, once again, is that you must stop acting like you (or anyone else, for that matter) own the page, stop calling "vandalism" that which clearly is not, and learn to work with your fellow editors. At the very bottom of the page each time you make an edit, you will read this: "If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it." Please take that to heart. RadioKirk (u|t|c) 03:40, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

well u should check those page since 99% of artists use that table chart. so go agead and change those ones too.--Letoyabrigade 03:45, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

That does not relieve you of your responsibility to demonstrate that your edits are correct or, just like everything else, it may be changed. RadioKirk (u|t|c) 03:48, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

well u couldve just clik on that Best R&B Song and see. whos the grammy award winner for r&b song in 2001. LETOYA LUCKETT. NOT destiny's child. it's a songwriting award. --Letoyabrigade 03:52, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Okay, good, this is a start. Cite your changes and use the edit summaries to explain them, and you'll actually have a good reason that they should stay. Meantime, start discussing improvements (on both sides of this argument) with editors like User:Musicpvm rather than call good-faith edits ""vandalism" (or even threatening them, as happened in some of the reverts involved in this article), and you'll have found the spirit of Wiki. RadioKirk (u|t|c) 03:58, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

alright. thanks for the help. have a good night.--Letoyabrigade 04:00, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Oh, before I forget, you cannot use a Wikpedia page as a reliable source for another Wikipedia page. A reliable off-site source for the award and to whom it was given will be necessary. Happy editing! RadioKirk (u|t|c) 04:01, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Letoya page

edit

Talk about your disagreements on the talk page of the article. Musicpvm is actually fixing a number of things in the article, not vandalising, and it's not very nice to accuse someone of vandalism simply because you disagree with them. Have you tried expressing specifically what you dislike about the editor's edits with them? That's a first step. Also, I would remind you of WP:3RR, and if you use sockpuppets to edit the article, that won't garner you any support. If you have specific questions feel free to ask. Please just try to take it to the talk page, and be civil. Mak (talk) 02:58, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

What happened to the talk page? It might work better than you expect. Mak (talk) 03:04, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
How exactly have you tried to communicate with him? The test message or putting "Please stop vandalising LeToya's page and get a life. thank you." ? Neither of those are constructive. Yelling in edit summaries isn't constructive either. Explain what changes you want and why on the talk page, then try to really hear other peoples' arguments. This is a collaborative project, and you need to figure out how to work with other editors, rather than against them. Mak (talk) 03:17, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

i understand what you sayin. i tried to talk to him in a nice way but it seems he doens't understand. we already let him re-do the whole article and delete more than half of it that "he" judge unucessery but those information might be important for other people.. he has to undertand that he have to compromise. this user has a lot of issues with a lot of users for different artists page. see talks.--Letoyabrigade 03:21, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

"[W]e already let him"? Again, read WP:OWN. RadioKirk (u|t|c) 03:24, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

u defenetely dont understand. He changed the whole article and i didn't say nothin. he has to compromise. the charts table is the same for most artist so there is no reason that another one should be there for letoya. a lot of people are watchin this page (we yes) we on www.forum.letoyaonline.com if u wanna check. we are 2000 people. so... --Letoyabrigade 03:42, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

This is a Wiki, everyone has to compromise. Read WP:MOS and any featured article involving a similar artist to see what is accepted by the community as the "correct" style—and that goes for User:Musicpvm as well. RadioKirk (u|t|c) 03:46, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

exactly like u say EVERYONE has to compromise. we did. now the other side has to compromise too.--Letoyabrigade 03:48, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

"Compromise" does not mean "revert in full to my version." RadioKirk (u|t|c) 03:50, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

i agree with that. i left your other changes. --Letoyabrigade 03:53, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Stop leaving unwarranted warning messages on my talk page

edit

User:Ericorbit and I did a major cleanup of the LeToya Luckett article which was a gigantic mess filled with fancruft, bad grammar, incorrect links, an excess of unencylopedic information, and a disregard of Wikipedia's style guidelines. You have shown that you are unable to discuss problems in a mature manner and you and your several suckpuppets have no regard for Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please stop continually leaving unwarranted warning messages at my talk page. Thank you! --Musicpvm 03:27, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please stop reporting this editor at WP:AIV. I haven't seen any attempts at actual communication, and if you continue in this manner you will be blocked for disruption and WP:3RR. Mak (talk) 03:37, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I report whatever I wanna report. it seems u don't understand when i'm talkin about leavin that table the way it is cause it's more elaborate and all artist pages use that one. Plus you removing the info about her award won under her name for no reason.--Letoyabrigade 03:39, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

LeToyas Discography

edit

Extraordinary Machine keeps deleting the single and album covers off the page, were aloud to have them arnt we?? --Samfim 03:16, 15 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes I we have the right to put those covers. He can't just delete them like that. However I'm not sure about the video screenshots. I never saw those on other discographies. (even tho it would be a good idea to put them on every artists discograhies; for example it would be interesting for michael jackson to see his evolution; how he changed lol; but for that we have to discuss that somewhere in wikipedia's line but I dunno where) So maybe we can compromise with him and say we keep the covers and maybe he can take the screenshot out. are you okay to take of the screenshots?--Letoyabrigade 03:50, 17 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hey LB..... I took a look and cleaned up some stuff and added a reference section too. Not sure who added the images, but I removed them since they had no sources. I'll definitely keep my eye on the article. - eo 11:48, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

about LeToya revision and update

edit

First of all Talk to me, I'm not adding things without source, as you can see, anything I add is linked down to an source, into the reference section, if you are making me wasting my time on reverting your vandal action, I'll revert your and everyone else edition that doesn't match with wiki standard, you are or helping to corroborate the wikipedia rule of any good informations are welcome.

Any artist can have any sections that have an relevance, Toya's one is about that she is doing a lot of collaborations on music world, if you look out an make an research you 'WON'T find anybody that matches with her, just to make it clear, I'm not being fanatic, I'm talking about insertion or not of sub sections, I'll comunicate Wikipedian Moderators to review about it

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Jumpinjumpin.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Jumpinjumpin.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 10:53, 22 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to LeToya Luckett, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Remember that Wikipedia exists to provide encyclopaedic coverage of a topic, and is not intended to be a fan site.
