Sigebert IV

edit

Hello Leclera. I have recently reverted your edits to the Sigebert IV article for two reasons:

  1. Before we continue improving or expanding this article, we need to determine whether or not Sigebert IV in fact existed using reliable sources. If you can provide these sources, it would resolve this problem once and for all.
  2. I don't mean to offend you but the quality of your writing is poor and is seriously damaging the article. So it might wise for you to limit yourself to making suggestions on the Talk:Sigebert IV page and let other users who able to contribute with a professional level of English to edit the article.

That being said, let's continue this debate on the Talk:Sigebert IV page. --Loremaster (talk) 19:57, 10 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yun Chi-Wang

edit

This article also needed a lot of cleaning up - there was a section which made no sense, and a red link because you had used a capital "H" and did not notice that the link to Yun CHi-ho did not work (it should have been Yun Chi-ho.) Please take more care when editing this encyclopedia. Thanks. PamD (talk) 11:37, 11 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Prince Imperial Heung and stub tags

edit

Please note that you don't need to add both {{stub}} and {{Korea-bio-stub}}. And that the "S" in the latter is a small "s" - please check that your edits actually work, rather than leaving a red-linked template. Thanks. PamD (talk) 23:09, 2 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yi Gi

edit

Please take the trouble to contribute in clear English. Please remember that we do not link dates. Please try to find some English language sources for your work if possible, to help English-speaking users of the encyclopedia. Thank you. PamD 12:59, 2 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Poor quality biographical stubs

edit

Please stop creating biographical stubs with so many mistakes. The latest I have found is Ahn Bang-jun.

  • Dates should not be linked (see WP:MOSNUM), as I have pointed out above.
  • Sentences in English begin with capital letters, not like "and he was Japanese invasions of Koreas people's Militia leader[1][2].".
  • "work" is not a standard section heading: do you mean "Published works"?
  • If an article has {{Korea-bio-stub}} it should not also have {{stub}}, as this wastes the time of stub-sorters.
  • "see also" should be "See also"
  • ... but should not include items linked in the text (Japanese invasions of Korea (1592–1598)) and should explain the significance of other links where it is not obvious from the title (which includes all the other three).

This article looks as if it comes from a very poor model or template, as I see a lot of poor Korean biographical stubs from many different editors. What is going on here? PamD 19:48, 5 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
