Hi. As you recently commented in the straw poll regarding the ongoing usage and trial of Pending changes, this is to notify you that there is an interim straw poll with regard to keeping the tool switched on or switching it off while improvements are worked on and due for release on November 9, 2010. This new poll is only in regard to this issue and sets no precedent for any future usage. Your input on this issue is greatly appreciated. Off2riorob (talk) 23:39, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for talk page edit edit

Yes, thank you for culling that note on my talk page! I hadn't been editing much lately, and only just noticed the (amusingly odd and out-of-context) comment. People are funny monkeys, sometimes. Forestgarden (talk) 19:43, 8 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Novels Collaboration for February edit

Thank you everyone who participated in the January Collaboration, it was quite a success with 5 new C class articles, 3 stub kills and several articles were removed from our backlogs. In support of the Great Backlog Drive, the WikiProject Novels Collaboration for February is going to help remove backlog candidates in the backlogs related to WikiProject Novels. Please join us, and help us wikify, reference, clean up plot sections and generally improve Novels content, Sadads (talk) 21:48, 5 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphan article edit

I am just writing to inform you that you seem to have misinterpreted the "Orphan" tag on the The Dragonslayer's Apprentice article, because it is still very much an orphan. The orphan tag is because few (in this particular case it is actually none) articles link to the article. So to remove the orphan tag you would actually have to edit other articles introducing links to The Dragonslayer's Apprentice, and not adding links in The Dragonslayer's Apprentice to other articles. Spidey104 20:41, 11 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for that input. I had misinterpreted the Orphan tag, and, though adding useful links within the article is still good, I will be sure to link to The Dragonslayer's Apprentice in the future to make it not an orphan. Thank you for correcting me. Layona1 (talk) 05:16, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sailing 2011 Pan Am Games template edit

I had to remove your reflist add to this template, because then 2 reference sections would have been on the article. Intoronto1125 (talk) 20:01, 25 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
