Welcome!

Hello, LaurynK, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

Also, I created a redirect at an article you submitted, 2004 and 2005, because there is already an existing article on David Sneddon, but I noticed that the text contains an assertation of copyright. Please be aware that by submitting your own content to Wikipedia, you are agreeing to release it into the public domain. If you do not want your content in the public domain, the best thing to do would be to contact and administrator and ask that it be deleted. Otherwise, feel free to add to Mr. Sneddon's current Wikipedia article. Thanks, and happy editing! -- Vary | Talk 20:06, 10 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Actually, now that I think of it, I may list that redirect for deletion, unless there's some specific reason why it's related to Mr. Sneddon. -- Vary | Talk 20:08, 10 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Image Tagging Image:B & W DavidGuildford.JPG edit

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:B & W DavidGuildford.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Dethomas 23:59, 8 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

In July 2006 the Martians have won the Quest for a new Scottish musical, and their musical the Sundowe wil be performed in Inverness in 2007. In light of this I was wondering if the Martians article may be re-submitted?

Unspecified source for Image:Davidsneddon.gig.2004.JPG edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Davidsneddon.gig.2004.JPG. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. Duplicate Image:Bedlam 22.JPG edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Bedlam 22.JPG, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Bedlam 22.JPG is a duplicate of an already existing article, category or image.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:Bedlam 22.JPG, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. File copyright problem with File:Emelisande (9).jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Emelisande (9).jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:00, 14 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Bedford Oct 2006 - 20.JPG edit

A tag has been placed on File:Bedford Oct 2006 - 20.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 20:27, 3 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Guildford David - 3.JPG edit

Thank you for uploading File:Guildford David - 3.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 09:32, 17 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
