Chat warning edit

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. Please refrain from doing this in the future. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Wikipedia talk pages aren't there for you to chat about the subjects. They are used to improve the article. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 05:31, 22 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Again, please stop using article talk pages as general-discussion forums, as you did on Talk:Giratina. Article talk pages are for suggesting improvements to, and discussing content within, the article itself. -Jeske (v^_^v) 20:37, 22 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Userpage edit

One thing you should probably know is that some people are rather paranoid about non-adult editors giving their ages on their userpages. We don't want to be in the news as "Editor kidnapped after giving out personal information on Wikipedia".

Not wanting to scare you or anything, but it would probably be better that you took down your birthdate from the page. If you're particularly concerned, you could even have it deleted from the page history so that people couldn't look it up by going back to earlier versions of your page. Have a nice day, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page --tjstrf talk 04:25, 24 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your question on the help desk edit

Hey there, in response to your question on the help desk about adding pronunciations to articles; Pronunciations in Wikipedia articles should be written in IPA, so if you don't know how to write IPA, you can request this by adding {{cleanup-ipa}} to the top of the article and writing "pronunciation of the name requested" or something similar on the article's talk page. If you feel bold enough to add it yourself, have a look at WP:MOS-P and IPA chart for English. Hope this helps, have a nice day, - Zeibura (Talk) 10:58, 24 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

WP:POKE is doing some housecleaning edit

This notice is to inform you that because many people have added their names to Wikipedia:WikiProject Pokémon#Participants but do not seem to be active, all names are being deleted in an effort to find out who is still truly interested in the project. All you have to do is re-add your name if you'd still like to be considered a member of WP:POKE. Any questions, you can contact me on my talk page. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 17:41, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
