Hello, LarryWeisenberg, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been reverted for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of deletion, you might like to draft your article before submission, then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. To start creating a draft article, just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit that page as you would any other. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

The one firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. It is also worth noting that Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which specifically link them to one company or corporation. If your username does have such a name, it would be advisable for you to request a change of username.

Hello LarryWeisenberg. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Michael Milken, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about following the reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

Mr. Weisenberg, I wrote this on the Meshulam Riklis talk page but wanted to be sure you see this. We here at wikipedia want to get information accurate. We also have policies regarding how we get our information. Conflict of Interest is one that comes to mind regarding your relationship with Milken, Riklis et al. People in such a position have an agenda, we want a Neutral point of view. Again, with the goal of accuracy here, we can forego the conflict if it is supported by what we call Reliable Sources, so the information is not your opinion or version of the facts, but that of a disassociated, knowledgeable voice. In short, your edits should be reverted on conflict of interest grounds. I suggest you instead help to make your additions and deletions valid by finding the supporting documents to prove your statements. Add those sources, it removes the content coming from your voice and places the burden of proof on the sources you presented. Trackinfo (talk) 17:10, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for your response. I felt it would be important to disclose my relationship with Mr. Milken for this very reason. I am reposting this from the talk page at Milken.

"Without commenting one way or another on the content issues here, I do want to correct one thing. Paid editing of Wikipedia is not in any way prohibited, it is just strongly discouraged. Mr. Weisenberg, the generally accepted best practice for people in your position is to participate fairly and without bias in discussions on the talk page and refrain from actually editing the article. The bolding was added here for emphasis. You have been advised of the best practice and instead you decide to engage in the worst practice. As a person representing Mr. Miken, there is no way you should be posting anything referenced to a site directly related to Mr. Milken like his family's foundation. If you want to be taken seriously here, you need to understand the very obvious fact that you are going to be considered biased, and by doing things like adding self-referenced promotional content like you just did, you are eroding people's opinion of you seriously.
