"Deep" and "Greatest Hits, Volume 2"?

edit

Thank you for contributing to the Lighting_Up_the_Sky wiki! Regarding your recent changes though, got any references for "Deep" and "Greatest Hits, Volume 2" being legitimate? If not, I would have no choice but to revert the changes until references are provided. Thanks! GSWikiChampion (talk 01:11, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced changes

edit

Please stop making unsourced changes to Lighting_Up_the_Sky. Despite my initial ask, you keep adding unsourced release date, unsourced supposed greatest hits album, and album cover links that are obviously spammy. Consider this a final warning before I report your account. GSWikiChampion (talk 22:30, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ok. Sorry. Im going to edit Slipknot Look Outside Your Window and change for a tracklist. These are songs confirmed to be made around the same time as All Hope is Gone sessions and thats when Look outside your window. Please DO NOT change my edits to that as they are confirmed on slipknot fandom.
Thank you and DONT CHANGE SLIPKNOTS PAGE I EDITED LITTLEDRUMMERBODY (talk) 22:15, 14 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Knitsey. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Look Outside Your Window, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Knitsey (talk) 22:35, 14 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Oh ok im sorry. Do you put sources on the bottom of the page LITTLEDRUMMERBODY (talk) 22:39, 14 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Have a look at the referencing for begginers in my message above, that should help. Remember, it needs to be a reliable source, not just someone on the internet said...
Once you have a reliable source stating all the tracks you want to add are going to be on the album then go ahead and add it. Knitsey (talk) 22:44, 14 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Oh ok thank you. can you help me report a user. he keeps giving me warning on something i edited once but he seems to think i do it over and over again. The user is GSWikiChampion. LITTLEDRUMMERBODY (talk) 22:46, 14 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
The user did say almost the same as I have said. That you need to add references to any claims on Wikipedia otherwise anyone could come along and write something like 'Slipknot make my ears bleed and they're really naff'
Editors do get frustrated with other editors sometimes. GSWikiChampion has a lot of experience and was just trying to let you know how Wikipedia works.
Have a look for the source of those tracks and go from there. Knitsey (talk) 22:53, 14 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm Serge, an Admin here on Wikipedia. Wikipedia requires all content additions/changes to be verified by reliable sources. You keep adding content without sources. That's not acceptable. It looks like you've already been told a few times, so this is a final warning. Do not add any further content without a reliable source or you'll be temporarily blocked from editing. See WP:REFB if you need help with adding sources. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 00:26, 15 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Oh ok. I'm in a band right now so am i allowed to make a page about it LITTLEDRUMMERBODY (talk) 12:34, 15 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
That would generally be seen as a Conflict of Interest, so you really shouldn't be doing that. Bands need to pass WP:NBAND too, so if it's just some local band, it would probably be deleted anyways.
I'd focus on just learning basic editing. I'm seeing a lot of your stuff be deleted due to being unsourced or not-notable. And you keep adding things that I don't think are real. Like, what's up with that Godsmack greatest hits album you claim is scheduled to release in 2025. Bands don't announce things like that 3 years in advance. Did you make that up? Speedy deletion nomination of Ottarnic

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ottarnic requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Speedy deletion nomination of Positive (+) - EP

edit

Hello LITTLEDRUMMERBODY,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Positive (+) - EP for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the album, song or discography is significant enough to be included in an encyclopedia, and the artist doesn't have an article of their own.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Final warning

edit

Final warning - you're still adding unsourced content to Wikipedia. And I'm concerned that you still haven't answered me on whether your draft for that Godsmack greatest hits album was a complete hoax either. If you admit it's a hoax, you won't be in trouble. But if you add unsourced content to Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing.Sergecross73 msg me 14:54, 26 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

It was a hoax. Is this page public? LITTLEDRUMMERBODY (talk) 10:44, 28 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sown together moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Sown together, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
