June 2016 edit

  Hello, I'm Citobun. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Kylayao. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Citibank Plaza, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Citobun (talk) 01:18, 28 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Page name edit

Hi Kylayao.

As User:Angelok.li created a redundant page at "Three Garden Road, Central", I am unable to move the page before that page is deleted as the "real estate" is occupied and the system will not let me move it. I have lodged a request for an administrator to delete that page so "Three Garden Road" can be moved to the new name.

I have also reverted recent edits by yourself and Angelok.li. Please review the links to the policies above on WP:NPOV, etc. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a PR platform. Hence promotional language is not appropriate, i.e. "Three Garden Road, Central has set a new standard of office trend by introducing innovative new tenant Eaton House, a new generation work club and home to the sophisticated modern nomads." Nor is deleting content without a proper explanation. Lastly please ensure to cite sources, especially for notable claims such as "...designed as one of the first office buildings in Hong Kong to incorporate intelligent building and environmentally friendly features". Regards, Citobun (talk) 02:31, 28 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Citobun,

Please help to edit "Three Garden Road" to the new name of "Three Garden Road, Central" at your soonest convenient as it is renamed and effective today already (http://threegardenroad.com/en/)

For sure we will try to amend the wordings and make it more factual and neutral, our goal is to reflect the related updates of the building and to show the useful and factual information to Wiki's users.

Thank you again! -Angel — Preceding unsigned comment added by Angelok.li (talkcontribs) 02:43, 28 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi Kylayao, thanks for your responsiveness and for reviewing the rules. Yes, adding the history of the building would be quite interesting. I will follow up on the name change but we still have to wait for an admin to delete the other page. Kind regards, Citobun (talk) 04:02, 28 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
Re. your message - I'm not sure when an admin would get around to it (I am not an admin nor a staff, just a volunteer editor). I will take a look later. Citobun (talk) 04:23, 28 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
