Welcome edit

Welcome!

Hello, Kurigiri, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  -ZeroTalk 12:34, 6 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I sure am grateful to have stumbled upon you! Since I have been a wikipedia 'fan' for quite a long time now, I have decided to sign up after I edited a little, less than a week ago. I thought that the One Piece character pages were fine (or rather, very informative) the way they are (or were, currently speaking), so I got a little carried away seeing quite a large bit of the page(s) was cut out. Since I never thought of searching for the rules in wikipedia, very foolish of me, I thought that everything was acceptable. Everything but vandalism, of course. Now that I have quite a few information pages, thank you, about wikipedia, I will hope not to make big mistakes in the future.

As I said earlier, I am quite new to this. Since don't know whether you will read it here or not, I will also say it on your talkpage, I hope you won't mind. (Kurigiri 12:56, 6 May 2006 (UTC))Reply

Hey, no problem! Lighten up, enjoy wikipedia And, yes, I usually respond to messages on my talkpage to avoid splitting the conversation. And please don't disbarage yourself. I don't believe anyone one here to be foolish, and everyone new to the wiki eventually learns some policy sooner or later. Thank you for being so cooperative, too. Feel free to ask if you need anything. -ZeroTalk 13:09, 6 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hello Kurigiri. I've been wondering for a long time who's been editing the Sanji's attacks page. I don't know when you started working on attack pages, but it took me alot of time finding all the attacks, translations, and definitions for all of Sanji's attacks. I don't mind the other character's attacks (except for the american dub versions) but I was already busy with Sanji's page. CP9Zebra 11 June, 2006

Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Thank you. Ryūlóng 07:55, 1 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Whoh! I did not attemp to remove that! I just wanted to hide to format, since it only was only meant for the editors.. but it seems I accidantly deleated that while changing my keyboard's batteries.

License tagging for Image:Asattenohoukou0304LG.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Asattenohoukou0304LG.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:06, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Re: User:Kurigiri/Ryuugu Rena edit

Okay, I have some things to say about this article you are about to put on Wikipedia. First off, why are you only making a fairly lengthy article just on Rena? It's seems a bit biased to me that she alone should get a large article while at the very least the other 4 main characters of Keiichi, Mion, Rika and Satoko do not get the same treatment. If you were intending on doing this at a later date, then that would be good.

Next, when you write out Japanese names in the article, write them as given name first, family name last since this is the accepted way of displaying Japanese names on Wikipedia. Also, make sure you proof read the article for mistakes, or else I'll have to do probably do it. I've put a lot of energy into the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni article and several of the other branching articles related to it, including the creation of the 8 game articles back in July. When you do finally post this on Wiki, I'm going to edit it heavily for sure unless you do it before hand. Granted there will probably be smaller edits I'll do as well that you may have missed.

Also, I would advise the addition of a character infobox. Examples of which can be found on articles devoted to fictional characters.

Lastly, please consider all I've said as it will make the article much better. -- (十八|talk) 02:49, 29 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Actually, I didn't intend to post it until I would play through Minagoroshi-hen, and Matsuribayashi-hen.
In fact, I only wrote about Rena because she was the only character who was a main inonly the Onikakushi-hen and Tsumihoroboshi-hen, who were both covered in the anime.
And the article is way too long, but I thought I'd write it long at first, and then take care of mistakes and shorten it.
Other then that, a character infobox is a must.
I know you've put a lot effort into the Higurashi articles, so if it bothers you, I'll stop writing it altoghter. Kurigiri 05:50, 29 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

When using <div>... edit

Hi, I noticed that you added <div class="references-small"> to a few pages' reference section, but you forgot to close the tag using </div>. This causes all the text underneath the Reference section to be small as well. In the future, please close to tag properly. For example:

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru - 05.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru - 05.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. AfD nomination of On The Day The Demon Prince was Born edit

An editor has nominated On The Day The Demon Prince was Born, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/On The Day The Demon Prince was Born and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Image:YoungLuffy.jpg edit

I have tagged Image:YoungLuffy.jpg as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again. Proposed deletion of List of Devil Fruits edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article List of Devil Fruits, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 16:30, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
