The RfC/U you have filed against Hammersoft will be deleted if it is not certified within 19 hours. Ncmvocalist (talk) 05:25, 10 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Good effort anyway edit

Looks like the Kim Jong-un RfC isn't going to go your way. It's a pity because I think your position should have won more support based on the strength of the competing arguments. I really do feel this is a case of people thinking too dogmatically and misinterpreting the explicit wording of policy as a result. And the ironic thing is, I'm not even sure if I think exceptions should be made for anyone. But if exceptions are made for recluses, they should be made in this case. I mean, honestly, J.D. Salinger would have applied, but not the man who is surrounded by one of the most notoriously insular national security and propaganda apparatuses in the world? Well, you win some, you lose some! There's far too many points being evaded or ignored for that to be chalked up as a valid loss as far as I'm concerned. That's before you even account for the influence on potential commenters that Black Kite's involvement is bound to have - who'd ever want to participate on the support side when his lack of respect for anyone disagreeing with him is palpable. Well, you're entitled to keep chipping away at their arguments and I might do the same in your place, but I'd be surprised at the end of the day if you get the votes. Still, good luck -- I'll provide what support I can with the limited time I can devote, though honestly I'm not sure what points can be added to the discussion that you haven't already supplied in triplicate. Thanks for the support. Even if it fails, there's ample evidence by now that that outcome would not be due to any flaw in the argument, but to the almost universal unwillingess to address it directly and in detail. Krolar62 (talk) 01:32, 17 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
