Proposed deletion of Sarpsfossen

edit

The article Sarpsfossen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no evidence and no indication where it is!

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:10, 8 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

My prod said "no evidence". Have you supplied any evidence? You could not even manage to create a {{coord}} tag so we could look it up on map sources. I have moved it to User:Kristoffer hh/sandbox until you actually pull your finger out and turn it into a narticle. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:15, 17 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Could you move the article back now? Kristoffer hh (talk) 19:58, 18 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

I am not surprised that people don't reckon it a major waterfall. In the Google aerial photos I cannot see any falling water at all - it is all diverted through the power stations. My prod said "no evidence". What have you done about that? You must provide a link to a reliable source which confirms the flow rate that you claim. When you have done that, you can move it back. (I can see why both Rhine Falls and Dettifoss make the claim - is Iceland really part of Europe? It reminds me of the conumdrums: the highest Spanish mountain is not in Spain, the highest Australian mountain is not in Australia and the most northerly point of Ireland is in the South.) — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:07, 19 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
