Speedy deletion nomination of Titans of Mavericks edit

Hello Kelseykukui,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Titans of Mavericks for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Welcome! edit

Hello, Kelseykukui, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms our use and policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:11, 11 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

VANDAL edit

User:Melcous (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)

  • The edits are in no way vandalism. Editors are attempting to remove promotional and unsupported material from the Griffin Guess article to (hopefully) bring it somewhere near Wikipedia's standards for inclusion. Your sole edits here have been to create articles promoting Guess and his event and it's clear you have an conflict of interest in doing so. Please stop posting to various editors' talk page accusing experienced and helpful editors of vandalism, and ensure you follow WP:COI and the requirements for disclosing paid editing explained here.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:17, 16 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
Kelseykukui, I've been away for a couple of days and come back to you accusing me in multiple places of vandalism. I suggest you read through the edit history of the article (and my edit summaries) a bit more carefully and in future assume good faith. There was one IP editor who added unsourced negative content to the article, but all my edits have been done under my user name and I have clearly explained the wikipedia guidelines and policies I was following, particularly about the use of external links and promotional content. I hope your time off while you are blocked might cause you to reconsider the way you have gone about things here and perhaps become a productive editor in future. Perhaps you might even consider apologising to me. Cheers, Melcous (talk) 05:54, 18 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

May 2018 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Griffin Guess. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Zingarese (talk) 20:09, 16 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

May 2018 edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:25, 16 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Abuse of multiple accounts edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:47, 16 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Request to unblock edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Kelseykukui (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

My initial edits were to only improve this page, not to create a conflict. My reasoning for assuming someone is wrongfully taking info out of the page and inserting unverifiable facts (opinions only) is because some user has gone out of there way to input data and information that is taken from a hate blog on the person. Recognizing my limitations on Wikipedia has landed me in this block by an administrator. I hold no ill will towards User:Ponyo, frankly wish to just see the page I was editing remain factual not intentionally redrafting the page to career sabotage the living person. No problem with facts, but the page took significant draft changes once a particular company was sold by Mr. Guess. Meaning, why weren't those changes or additions made prior, well in my opinion its because the person or person(s) making the updated edits are upset at the business being sold or some vendetta. Secondly credited RIAA certified marketing albums and other awards prior listed have all been removed? Pretty clear and simple that I'm being punished for remaining nutrual in my edits and someone with wrong intentions is allowed to sustain their changes in the bio. And secondly, why is wikipedia supporting negative and harmful information onto others in pages? That isn't right neither

Decline reason:

You are blocked for WP:sockpuppetry. Though quite expansive, your unblock request is wholly off-topic. As your block is only for 1 week, I think you should contemplate your own behavior instead of leveling accusations against others. You seem to have a pattern of doing that. Please consider your WP:COI, promotionalism, and your disruptive behavior for which you have been warned in the past. If you have concerns about page content, then discuss said content on the article talk page and achieve consensus for any changes. If unable to achieve consensus, please seek dispute resolution Cheers, and happy editing.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 23:02, 17 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
